Very old place. The only reason I have been going lately is that they have live music in the evenings at the food court. I have been drinking beer there and eating from the rather limited selection of food they offer. The other reason is that is near my home. Last night as the band was playing I saw a... More

Very old shopping center but we liked it. It has his own local personality, targeted to the local people, I would say. It has a big supermarket with the attached food court (all priced very reasonably) and another food area a little bit aside. There are also many small stores with the nice selection of local crafts, household items, and... More

I come to this mall almost every day. Heaps of western sized clothes and central department store to buy your homewares. We also workout at the Strong Gym on level 3. Post workout gains available on B1 level. Try the stewed pork or beef soup without noodles. Dangerous dairy queen at the bottom of the escalators on l2 and dunkin... More

Older style shopping centre but with the advantage of generally lower prices. It seems to be the place the locals shop. Good choice of shops with all the favourites plus a few different shops. Easy access from old city 80-100 Thb Tuk tuk ride from city centre.

Hangout out of convenience. More of getting services done and Tops supermart and every Saturday a walking street market just outside the mall. Oh ya cinema for movie lovers a regular mall.

This is better than the glossy plastic new ones. a bit jaded and worn but has some character. the basement food plaza is great for a good budget thai lunch and you might find a bargain in the mall clothes racks. the sizzler appears to be a rip off.

I'm sure there are better malls in Chiang Mai. This one looks and feels old and tired. The good thing here, though, is the movie theater. Now, it's not like the massive cinema complex in Bangkok (I forget the name, but if you've been, you'll know it's one of the seemingly better ones in the world, seriously, especially for the... We moved into the once grand Lotus Hotel here to escape the summer heat. It's an amazing complex, built in a circle with an open courtyard in the middle, and actually encompasses two hotels, the 4 star Lotus @ Bt1200 and the more down market Baan Din Ki at around Bt7 -900. I believe that both hotels offer incredible value... More

I personally don't like the atmosphere of the centre. It's old, feels like it was built a century ago. The shops don't offer anything special, and prices are just ok. Not cheaper than the other places we've been (local brand). Food selection is fairly limited, and a lot of them aren't freshly cooked to order. The best thing about this... More

We went to this mall a couple of times during our visit and while it is an older style shopping center there are reasons to visit. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights there is an outdoor market outside the main entrance that sells very good homemade local cuisine for very low prices. There is also a food court in the...
