Most people just walk around the front of the shopping mall, not realizing the immense size of the complex. This used to be one of the largest shopping malls in the world. Sadly because of the construction of other malls in Chiang Mai, some parts of the more all a little bare. I have been lost in here 3 times... More

There are some amazing places to shop in Chiang Mai ... but this is not one of them. I laughed at a previous reviewer referring to KSK being stuck in the 80s - as it's exactly how it feels! Boring shops, disinterested shop assistants, dirty toilets. Don't bother!

This shopping centre has a good range of articles for sale along with the normal food outlets. One of its benefits is it has a larger than average (well for CM city) supermarket in the basement, good selection of western goods. At the back on the ground floor there is a small local food hall, excellent food very cheap. On... More

No, this is not a flash new shopping centre, but I can get that at home. There are many, many options for food and a great variety. If you search all the nooks and crannies you'll find some shops with good products at great prices too. Highly recommended to attend the markets at the front of the shopping centre on... More

Now eclipsed by newer malls: Promenada, Festival and Maya (opening soon), KSK looks a bit elderly but still is worth a visit as it caters for locals with some smaller independent shops and a good weekly market out the front. I like Tops supermarket as it is not too big and has most things you need. Worth walking right out... More

If you want a time warp to the eighties, this is your place: design of the mall and the clothes in the windows seem to have stayed in display for over 30 years. Don't waste your time.

One earlier review noted that this was not really a shopping mall for tourists and there is some truth in this but there is more to the mall than that. It is not worth a special trip if you are not staying nearby but we were staying at the Nest Bed and Breakfast next door and it was very useful.... More

Old mall with many choiches of bakery and food to try. l tried apple pie and blueberry pie and some bread in the Bakery inside Top's Supermarket. They were crunchy and really delicious! My sister tried some bakery outside it and told me that they were yummy too. This mall had Bazaar on the Ground Floor near Food Factory. key... More

The building is old but on a good side - convenient, nice and have many outlets. It is not fancy and doesn't sell high end products - only locals and general things of a big supermarket can offer including Watson's and massage place.
