This shopping center is a bit older now, but it is still good. It isn't as slick as some of the newer ones, but it does have character. If you dig around you can find some interesting shops and stalls. The prices here can also be a bit cheaper.

Kad Suan Kaew has been overtaken by the newer and flashier Maya and Central Festival Malls and it is a throwback to the way malls used to be. That said it does have just about everything one could want albeit it doesn't house any of major brand name stores. The clientele are mostly local and there are some good deals... More

This mall has variety catering to local crowds. This means food, merchandise and prices, catering to locals. Basement has a food court that caters for local food. The place gives a nostalgic feeling of a shopping mall before supermalls. In the evening the outside of the mall comes to life with local makeshift stalls selling food and merchandise from street... An old shopping mainly patronised by the locals. No branded goods stores here and as such, most items here are reasonale and bargainable. There are many food outlets, such as kfc, starbucks, sizzlers to name a few. Price here are moderate and not so demanding. Food also reasonably priced. Best place to find your sim cards as the there are... More

I love how the outside brick work pays homage to the old city walls. The mall caters primarily to Thai which Is great because I did not come here to have a homogenous cultural experience. Plenty of food options including Tops Market in the basement. And for Starbucksphiles - there is one there too.

We went to the mall because we were looking for a gym to work out in. The gym was cheap (50 bhat on 3rd floor), which is what we were looking for, though not the nicest of gyms. The rest of the mall was nice, its a mall, but definitely not the nicest mall we've seen. There is some good... More

I'm quite fond of the place even if it's less glitzy than later versions. It's also less pretentious and not at all an assembly of empty brand name shops as they often are. It's very well frequented by locals who know they can get good value for money there. During the sales the prices can be astonishingly good. I rented... More

There is a Central Department store there, which is a little expensive, however they often have sales and we found some good deals there. They carry many appliances at decent prices. The movies are in Thai language only. They have the usual restaurants, a Swenson's ice cream and there is a MK across the street. We were able to get... More
