The market is excellent, and there are many eating places mainly sea food or halal. About three doors up from Jamesons pub there is a restaurant proclaiming Indian/Pakistan/Thai (the first of a few) - we decided to give it a try. The menu list is comprehensive and even non-menu food was available. The service was attentive and the setting was... More
Love this place. Muslim travelers have a little difficulties when it come to looking for halal food. Anusan Market offers good selection of halal restaurants. There are Indian halal restaurant, Middle-Eastern halal restaurant, Korean halal restaurant, and also Yunan Chinese halal restaurant, seafood restaurants. If you're a non-Muslim and looking for good bars or simply any kind of restaurant, Anusan... More
Had such a great night at these markets, spent heaps but was super cheap! Something for everyone and Great food. We went on a Tuesday night which was the best night we found, markets seemed to alternate each night so was different each night.

This falls behind the Saturday and Sunday markets, mainly due to it's size and street food offerings but it comes into its own in terms of dry food products. It sells most of the same stuff as the other markets, it's definitely less crowded and although I didn't... More
Although the Anusarn Market is much smaller than the Night Bazaar, it has everything you could ever need with far fewer crowds located under 1 roof! This is the primary source... More
Many stall selling knick knacks and local souvenirs. Nice time getting some bargains here. Wouldn't try the Indian restaurants here as the food here don't look authentic. However, the seafood restaurants here have a fine selection.
Spent an enjoyable couple of hours easy to view the stalls without being pushed, elbowed or having your feet trodden like in the nearby night market. Husband purchased very good quality t-shirts here, Aussie sizes.
This market is off the street from the night Bazaar and very deceiving how big it is. Fantastic variety of stalls and amazing places to eat. Visited there 2 nights and ate at the most wonderful seafood restaurant. You can also have cheap meals at the stalls 30B and finish it off with a fruit shake. Great bargains but don't... More
The market is fantastic with some lovely things for sale (as well as some general rubbish and clutter) but you can really haggle the prices right down and get some good value. If you don't want to buy even the experience is good. The food around here is fantastic. I have been three nights in a row all to different... More
