Most of the stalls here are geared towards the tourists. Not many restaurants. The seafood restaurant seemed to be the favorite with many patrons. Anusan is like a huge square with rows of stalls selling all kinds of knick knacks. It's part of the larger nightly market along the main road outside.

When i first visited the Anusan Market many years ago, it consisted of many many small eating places and was filled to overflowing most nights. However, apparently something was not working because over the years, the place has been changed a little each time I visit. On my current visit, the place was almost unrecognizable, with many fewer eating places,... More

Went on a Friday night in Dec, unsure if we hit a dull night or if it's normally really quiet, but we were really surprised there weren't more people there! Food areas are a bit disappointing, only a few street carts, so most of the food you eat sitting down from restaurants. In saying that we had some really good... More

The Anusan market is an adjunct of the huge Chiang Mai night markets. It is situated in a big area ringed by 'touristy' restaurants. The goods for sale seem to be mostly textiles, clothing and souvenirs. The prices here seemed to me to be a bit stiff compared to other sections of the night market, but perhaps because of the... This was one of our favorite places to walk though in the evenings. Things don't really get going until after 6pm. There is some really good food there. Jintana Happy Thai was our favorite, as well as the mango sticky rice stand and the ice cream bar tuk tuk. There are also a couple bigger seafood restaurants which were always... More

The Anusan Market is off the main street, where essentially a big parking lot is converted to stalls and market stands each night. It's attractively laid out and seem to have lots of stuff, but despite wandering about many, many times, I seem to rarely ever buy anything there. I guess that suggests the goods are not really all that... More

This season is great for shop along Chang Klan Road to Anusan Market. More stalls open compare to the raining season. Don't forget to negotiate the price with local as some of the things are over price. I love to get massage at Le Best Spa, as the price is 150 baht for 30 mins, 200 baht for 1 hour... More

I had my dinner here on my first night. It was satisfying. They are many choices of restaurant here so you could easily pick one of your choice. Walk around for shopping and live band is there. Enjoyable night.

minutes away from hotel so went 2 nights in a row but didn't buy anything. quality seems to be on the better side but more expensive compare to the stalls just on the street.if you go towards the local market you can find simlar or same products for less.
