If you like to eat fresh see food in central Chiangmai this is the place to go. There are many see food stalls, you can go around an choose what you like. Fish are mostly still swimming so freshness is out of question. They also offer usually small selection of wines, not high class but OK for Chiangmai. Very recommended.

The market had a lot of souvenirs for sale and is surrounded by restaurants. Halal restaurants are a dime a dozen here. My wife and I went to one called Khan Restaurant and we were appalled by the food quality and prices. I had a very stale Khao Soi with questionable broth. My wife had Broccoli with shrimps. The portion... More

An undercover evening Market, not as crowded as the Street Markets, exceptional value for unusual/ unique gifts. Several Restaurants inside market offer exceptional value, quality, tasteful food -- some of the best meals we enjoyed in Thailand. Wonderful nightime atmosphere.

Great little market with anything and everything you could want in a typical thai market. We enjoyed it most nights we walked through to get dinner. Theres always live music somewhere from 9pm onwards.

As with all the markets in Chiang Mai it is worth checking out for that one elusive thing you just have to have. For us, we got some hand painted elephants on canvas which we love. We chose not to eat here.

The market here is really touristy...everything is really expensive inside relative to the market outside or even the sunday market. Still worth seeing since it's right along the night bazar. The restaurants in there are kind of tourist traps and aren't really that good. I actually got my welcome to Thailand special stomach problems...just going to one of the restaurants... More

Its nice to see all the ambience, but you cant buy anything original, or really local, and the food is not worth the money. You can eat much better, cheaper and more thai in any street. Food looks fresh, but its too western and the prices are too high for the quality. Anything there is the same than in the... More

A famous market for thai locals & tourists. You can find a lot of handicrafts, thai decor, clothes, living stuffs in very cheap price. There are separate to 2 kinds of eateries, locals & tourists. How cheap or how expensive... depends on what you eat... Recommended to visit Night bazaar, you can see lot of beautiful hand printing.

Just another night markets with food stalls and restaurants, including seafood. Also stalls selling souvenirs. The only cabaret show in CM is at a drinking bar, free for those drinking at the bar and starts at 9.30pm. I have been to most of the cabarets in Phuket, Pattaya and Bangkok. This one is horrible. The so call ladies are 100%... More

The fish is weighed on their scales and two king prawns would never weigh 1.3 Kgs - beware this is a total rip-off where the new generation of Chinese tourists get fleeced every night. Just because it is busy does not mean it is good - quite the contrary. JUST AVOID THIS GHASTLY PLACE YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!
