This was by far one of the highlights of our trip to Chiang Mai. A group of 7 of us went, and had a blast. We met another American family there with 3 children ages 9-14 and they had fun as well, so fun for all ages. Palm, our teacher was amazing, we shopped the Markets, walked to class from... More

What a wonderful experience. Our teacher, Palm, was a delight. Our culinary experienced began in the fresh food market. After a relaxing train ride through the beautiful countryside we journeyed by bicycle to the farm and cooking school. Our class toured the gardens where we selected the ingredients for our cooking adventure. The lessons and courses were well planned. Who... More

Our day started off with a representative from Smart Cook picking us up from the guest house. After that, we were given a little market tour in which Palm, our entertaining guide and expert cooking instructor, taught us how to identify many of the important ingredients used in Thai cookery. From there, we took a short train ride to a... More

Signed up for the whole day based on what we heard from some friends. Had a great day learning some Thai cuisine staples. The instructor (Palm) made the day for me! Always making everyone laugh and keeping it fun for everyone! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to spend a day, or half day, learning some Thai cuisine!

We had the cooking class with our tour group juli 2014. All very nice people, great teachers (prae and palm are the best !), lots of great tips. Perfect for learning as newby or to perfect your thai cooking. The little cookbook you get at the end has all the recipes of the day and is a great souvenir!
