Not an inexpensive experience. Free flow food was a nice surprise, but extremely touristy, and fine if you were only planning a short stay in Thailand. There were 2 shows included, one inside and one outside. The one inside was much better than the one outside. Well worth considering, as the whole thing only takes a couple of hours.

It is more than a restaurant with show, in fact it is a gastronomic experience with TWO shows. It is recommended to book in advance to get a nice place. It is not expensive. If you are in a hotel in Chiang Mai, ask at the reception, because transport to and from The Old Chiang Mai Cultural Centre can be... More

The food here was very nice and the dancing was great to watch. You could choose to sit at a table or on the floor on cushions. I feel the cushions are better as you are closer to the dancing. Later they have another dancing show outside the main building, I feel this was even better than the first one.

First, if you have been to Chiang Mai festival in November and you have seen the parade, don't go to this, most of the dances I have seen them performed by the same groups on the parade. If you are waiting for something to blow your mind and some hard to perform dances, or highly skilled dancers this is also... More

Huge buffet per person in a lovely old building, and the Thai dancing and hill tribe dancing were very nice. Well worth a visit.

We had heard a lot about Kantoke dinner and were keen to experience this Dinner at this cultural center. A total of about eight dishes, plus soup, plus two varieties of rice was served. During our two week stay in Thailand, we have now experienced several thai buffets and unfortunately the food here was not to our expectations. Service was... More

I decided to book this experience for my wife's birthday. We 3 adults and 2 Children arrived at the venue at 7pm on a Saturday evening, we had booked a floor table near to the stage. Immediately we were ushered to our floor space and waiters brought two small tables which contained the food into the middle of the Thai... More

Or may be i visit in low season then there is only indoor area). Food was ready to served at 7pm. The thai dancing shows started at 8 pm. it showed only... More

We went to the Kantoke diner. It is nice to see local danse and dresses, you finish by a show outside which is nice also. I just found a bit pricy, specially when you are big family (they charged full price to my 7 year old daughter). Nice to see.
