Owner description: Each day, our students are picked up from Chiang Mai and driven to the cookery school. On a typical day our lessons begin with a trip to a local country market, guided by our experienced cooking instructors so that students learn how to select and buy the fresh Thai ingredients that they will need for that day's cooking lesson. For many, this tour of the morning market is an unforgettable experience in itself, leaving them with lasting memories of new sights, sounds and wonderful spicy aromas, as well as a broader knowledge of Thai fruits, vegetables and spices. This experience and new knowledge is especially useful to those who want to impress their friends back home with delicious Thai cuisine. Returning to the delightful semi-rural setting of the cookery school itself, our instructors take students through every stage of the cooking process, until at the end of the session students have the opportunity to taste and eat their creations. Our students learn by doing, not merely watching, so each course is full of activity and fun.

We'd love to eat Thai food in Germany, but don't want to rely on take-aways and ready-made curry-paste.. Pao (sorry if I misspell your name!!) was a lovely host. She managed to book us in the same morning for an evening class.. She picked us up form the hotel and took us food shopping at a local, authentic food market... More

We spent the day at this cookery school as part of our Exodus tour. First we were taken to the market to view the different kinds of ingredients, then we arrived at the school which is an extension of Pom's house in a lovely setting overlooking rice fields. We each had our individual work station and all the ingredients were... More

I went to this cooking class with my tour group. There was a mix of ages, tastes and experience and Pom catered for us all. Would definitely recommend.

We met Pom today and we had really great cooking experience! She took us to a small market explaining us all the famous thai veggies and fruits used in Thai cooking, great explanation about sticky rice and how to make it healthy way! The class was at her home outside Chiangmai, so peacefull and calm! We cooked 4 meal dishes,... More

Pom picked us up at our hotel and surprised is with how warm and welcoming she was, as well as the fact that she spoke fluent English. We went straight to the market where she explained every ingredient that we would use in depth and anything else we wanted to know about the market. From there we went to her... More

After so many temples with three teens this was the perfect way to spend time together doing something fun without yet another restaurant. You learn about the food you have been eating all along your travels. They pick you up and show you how to do it and then Pom helps you a little as you do it on your... More

Really good fun and highly recommended. Pom picked us up from our hotel, took us to the local market and effortlessly talked us through all of the recipes. The class is held at her home, a very picturesque location, situated amongst paddy fields and about 30 mins drive out of Chiang Mai. it's a very peaceful and welcoming family-style environment,... We decided to do this Cooking Class after reading so many good reviews on TripAdvisor. And its worth it. The lovely host Pom arrange the Pick-Up at your Hostel/Hotel or she directly collect you and later on you are heading to perfect fresh and clean market, where some ingredients will be bought for the class. She also explains different vegetables... More

So I have to admit we were blessed, Pom arrived in the morning with the news others in the group had cancelled and my girlfriend and I would be getting a personal cooking class! Regardless it would have been great but just lucky! The market was a highlight and so different to the touristy markets in central Chiang Mai. Cooking... More

We booked the and went to the cooking class when we was in Chiang Mai last month and what a brilliant afternoon it was.
