I am a sigle female traveler who rock climbs. When I arrived to Chiang Mai, I only knew I wanted to stay at Julie's Guesthouse because Chiang Mai Rock Climbing Adventures (CMRCA) was next to it. I didn't want to pay the fee for a guide because it was very expensive for me, so I decided to chance it. I... More

We had done some wall climbing at home in the UK, but not recently - so we signed up for the 1 day intro course. From the moment we arrived until we left in the evening the whole day was a pleasure. We were kitted out by Betty and Brian our guides with helmets, shoes, belay device, harness, chalkbag and... More

Because I travelled alone, i booked aan trip with personal guide. Was expensive, but it was a faboulous day. Good guidance, professional, good material. Bring your own shoes if you re an experienced climber. Beautiful area! January is the perfect weather, not humid and hot.

Awesome place to climb! With the guidebook on the climbing routes in crazy horse, nothing can go wrong. Definitely self-sufficient. The walls are well bolted and maintenance are done regularly. So...one can climb with ease! Some walls are really interesting and I will be going back to finish more climbs! Cheers and thumbs up!

Had a great day caving with the guides from CMRCA, professional, fun, and surprisingly informative! Always felt 100% safe which is pretty important when you are in the middle of a cave system in the dark. These guys also organised a home stay for me and the flight of the gibbon too, both were great and definitely worth experiencing

After a couple of days climbing at the Crazy Horse crags, I took a private lead climbing course with CMRCA. My guide was excellent, really knows his stuff, explains everything in detail, makes sure I understand, has neverending patience and besides all this, is a funny guy to spend time with. He adjusted the day according to my skills and... More

The best, though perhaps only, climbing shop in Chiang Mai. Best staff I have ever experienced in a climbing shop, and they maintain the climbing crag so well. Great whether you're trying climbing for the first time, are an experienced climber, or just want to spend an afternoon bouldering. Keep up the amazing work guys.
