Had a great day caving with the guides from CMRCA, professional, fun, and surprisingly informative! Always felt 100% safe which is pretty important when you are in the middle of a cave system in the dark. These guys also organised a home stay for me and the flight of the gibbon too, both were great and definitely worth experiencing.

I did two guided tours with CMRCA while I was in Chiang Mai because I wanted to learn to climb on real rock after a fair bit of indoor climbing. The trips were well organized right from my first booking. The shop gives a good first impression, and the staff were more than happy to reschedule my original booking because... More

While we did not climb with them - I have dealt with this company with equipment purchasing, advice and planning. They are very friendly and very professional. My main positive vibe is towards the incredible work they have done in the development of Crazy Horse climbing area. Having developed a lot myself, these guys have taken it to the next... More

We rented gear from CMRCA to climb at Crazy Horse Buttress in Mae On. All our dealings with CMRCA were excellent from phone inquiries to helping the tuk tuk driver find their location (it's very easy really, we just didn't have a map!) Jon was brilliant, very helpful at providing us with all the info we needed including bike rentals,... More

We are a little late in our review, but it was well worth it. Our guide Add, was well experienced, gauged our level very quickly, caught us up to speed on things we had not practiced in over 2 years, and taught us more in 1 day than we had learned previously ever. I learned how to clean the route,... More

I am a climber and I'd done some very beginner caving previously but I wanted to get more into it. When I heard that Chiang Mai Rock Climbing Adventures offered caving courses I signed up immediately. I took the intro caving course that taught me how to use roped caving equipment, a lot of which is different from climbing equipment.... More

I had two days of private guiding and instruction for lead and multi-pitch climbing. I have done it before, but not often enough to feel comfortable going on my own. My guide, Gee, was very thorough and knowledgeable about mountaineering and multi-pitch climbing. He was very safe and he executed proper technique with his anchor and rope settings. While this... An enjoyable few hours climbing and abseiling around the Crazy Horse rocks. The guides were professional and I felt safe at all times. The lunch served was tasty but overall I felt the day was slightly overpriced.

We tasted only the indoor boulder (not have the time to take the outside adventure). Place in the center of Chiang Mai walls, it is very easy to go. The boulder is very nice, many different levels (200 THB to go in if you have your own material, and 300 THB if you need some). Toilet (without shower), music (bring... More

This place "rock"Ed my socks off. My guide was a phenomenal guy. For his insane amount of knowledge and skill and the fact he had a great sense of humor. They really go above and beyond for you here! Isn't that the definition of a great experience...
