We booked this course as a second choice, as the school we wanted to go with didn't have any space for a couple of days. We really didnt have any preconceived ideas about the course, although we both left feeling quite dissappointed. On all of their brochures they promise a market tour, which we didn't get & from reading other... More

After checking into the Raming Lodge we took a stoll to explore the area around the hotel. We turned left at the hotel and right into a small road when we discovered this place. After talking to this wonderful girl called Aom we (husband and wife) decided to do the full day cooking course. It turned out to be a... More

I only did the afternoon lesson was sorry I didn't do the whole day as I didn't have much time. I learnt a lot and was helped with all the chopping and cooking, When I finished cooking and dished up I thought I was a professional chef, the meal tasted so good and guess what I did it. More

Totally worth the 900 bhat for full day, fun trip to Market in am, learn lots about Thai ingredients. Friendly staff, easy to do but still feel proud of what you make, tasty to eat tho! You'll be nicely full for the day, get a cookbook to take away. Probably our best experience in Chiang mai. Helpful pick up and... More

Interesting visit to the market to see all the ingredients ot start with. A cooking lesson that proved that great tasting food can be easy to prepare. 4 easy dishes and a cookbook with the dishes we prepared. Loved it and will try it out @home. More

Our instructor was truly amazing, she was very knowledgeable in what she was teaching, she laughed alot and made it a very enjoyable fun day. Not to mention the food was delicious, everything right from the garden.. I would recommend this to everyone, the farm is beautiful, very well laid out. Everything you need.. Now to make it at home... More

My sister in law and I did the half day morning course - it was simply wonderful. I will say from the outset that I am a novice in all things culinary. We started off by going to the markets where Jay showed us all the ingredients in their raw state before heading back to the kitchen to begin our... More

We did the afternoon school which was probably a bad choice as we didn't get to do the market visit that's included in the morning school (we were in a rush and couldn't fit the morning school into our schedule). However, after a slow start things got going and we chose 4 dishes to learn to cook. All the prep... More

My girlfriend and I did the evening course and were able to make 2 dishes each, a curry paste and a curry. The class was not too busy, the teacher was excellent and you got to do all of the cooking, not just observe. Would highly recommend. More
