This cooking class was a lot of fun, mostly because of the Chef MB- who though she may have been doing the class for years, she acts like you are her first group. She was hilarious and created a dynamic and energetic atmosphere regardless of the heat!

This was a great way to spend a day cooking and eating delicious Thai food. Over the day, we made and ate 6 dishes. The chef demonstrated the dish first in the classroom, then we went out to our own cooking station to make and cook it. Dishes included hot and sour soup, Thai fish cakes, green chicken curry, Pad... "Move your body" was Nancy's favorite saying while we were there. We spent all day at the cooking school and enjoyed every single minute of it! At the beginning, you will be driven to the local market where one of the staff explains all the spices, vegetables, and fruit to you. Afterwards, you arrive at the cooking school and choose... More

I wanted a serious education in cooking Thai food, not necessarily a casual social afternoon. After a lot of research, I decided to go with this facility and am *so* glad I did! The atmosphere was easy-going and social, but also intensive, learning six different recipes every day. The facility was top-notch and the instructor was fun to work with... More

We arrived on 21st April to Chiang Mai Thai Cookery School for a 1 day beginner cooking course to learn to cook 5 dishes including making your own curry paste, pad thai, soup and dessert. Our instructor was Chef Embee and she was a bomb! She guided us throughout the trip to the market and to the kitchen in prepping... More

Understand that this was a master class so some culinary skills are expected to be had by the students. We chose this one because it had Norhern Thai dishes. It was a hectic day of prep, curry pastes and cooking. The chef knew what was going on but at times I felt a bit lost as it is was very... More

Understand: I think reviews are inflated. 3 in my book is a solid good. As well, the Chef and staff were all great. Really polite, friendly and happy to answer questions. So good job guys, gals and chef. About me: Hobbyist cook, have done 2 Thai cooking classes in the past in country. Class: Wife and I did an evening... More
