If you are just thinking of coming for a day, this is a great place to understand and practice the basics of Thai cooking. Go for it! They offer 5 one day courses which together make up the beginners course. My comments relate more to those considering signing up to the full five days course - Firstly, there are two... More

What a great way to spend a day. Although the van had trouble finding us, they sent a tuk tuk for us, and we met up with the rest of the group at the market. Big Mama was both our tour guide and our cooking instructor. Our day started at the market where we picked up the ingredients for the... More

I just wish I had more attention from them. I know I sound like a spoiled child but I take my food serious and I want to be able to reproduce this stuff at home. The instructors are funny, energetic, and really know their food. For the price, one of the highest I found, I wish the class size was... More

The Chef showed us how to cook Thai Food (5 dishes) in a very funny way, including the decorations around and on top of all dishes. I was upfront a bit seceptical, but have to admit the cookery School was a very nice experience.

We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the very scenic kitchen/school. My fiancé and I were lucky enough to only have 2 others in our group and had a personalised experience. We cooked 6 dishes, one in which we learned a curry paste - it was worthwhile even if it was just for this recipe! We also... More

A great thai cooking master will introduce you, in a professional but at the same time funny way, to thai dishes. Atmosphere is really nice and... You will eat all the dishes you prepare! Get ready to surprise all your friends next time you will cook for them!

We had a 6 hour session with Head Chef Tanapon from Chiang Mai Thai Cookery School. Chef Tanapon is an entertainer and master-chef not unlike Martin Yan of "Yan Can Cook" tv fame. He brought us to the market to introduce us to the common produce, herbs and vegetables that we will be using. The tour of the wet market... More
