This class is must do at the start of your trip to appreciate the flavours and skill in thai cooking. We were promptly picked up and dropped off at our hotel with no issues whatsoever. Our chef instructor, Thanapoon, was excellent. Extremely funny, skilled and very hands-on in teaching. We felt right at ease and the day flew by with... More

This was such a good day out for us! We chose the vegetable carving class and had lots of laughs learning how to do this and then practicing. We each had our own cooking station and cooked everything ourselves which was a bonus! It was so well organised and well run with a lot of humor added in to the... More

We spent the full day cooking. Our 6&7 yr old helped cook the first dish then lost a lot of interest. However the chefs and trainee cooks were fantastic at entertaining the girls outside while we watched the demonstrations. Then the girls helped is cut and cook the dishes. Thank you to Aimee, June, Rita and Phrom. It was a... More

We chose this school because of the reviews, and I really have nothing to add that has not already been said. Amazing time and amazing food. Don't hesitate---book this one!

We took part in the day course whilst in Chiang Mai and are so grateful we did! The course was such fun! When we visited there were only 7 of us taking part on the day, which I think was lucky as it made the experience feel more intimate and interactive. You are collected and taken back to your hotel,... More

We felt a bit 'bleurgh' about our day of cooking with Chiang Mai Thai cookery school. There was nothing wrong with it but it just felt a bit cliche, with practised jokes and moves but no "out of the box" thinking. Drinks provided are tea and instant coffee - surely a cookery school can do better than that? A tour... More

On of the highlights of our trip to beautiful, fun Chiang Mai was the cooking class experience and authentic, honest Thai food we cooked at the school. Chef and assistants were great. Super classroom setting and a great experience. Chef was great explaining to all travelers, kept us engaged and amused. Delicious! Recommend to everyone. My niece has a shellfish... More

A bit far out the city, and a bit more expensive than the rest, but worth the money. Fantastic food, cooking in the open, good tricks and tips and a really good dinner afterwards. Recommendable!

This course is a little more expensive than others, but I think that you get what you pay for (approx USD$41). The class is advertised as running from 10-4, but we were finished at 3 (they provide round-trip transportation). The classes were taught in an air-conditioned classroom with an overhead mirror that helps you see what is being taught. The... More
