Surprisingly, this was probably my favorite thing I did in Chiang Mai. I don't typically like cooking, but the staff made everything really fun and easy to learn. They were even very accommodating of the vegetarians in our group and provided tofu to replace chicken or other proteins. And all of the food was delicious, even the food I made.... More

Great facilities and staff. A relaxing day. I recommend going with an empty stomach! You start the day by a guided tour through local markets to shop for ingredients. We trialed some thai fruits here which was a nice addition. No complaints or suggestions for improvement- it was overall a great day!

My wife and I enrolled for an entire week course last year, it is a real culinary school, not a tourist show-me how it's done class. You'll learn how to make curry from scratch, you'll be taken to the market and shown how to choose vegetables. This is the real deal. If you expect to just watch, this is not... More

Def worth a visit, it was a nice experience and we got to eat a lot of good food that we cooked. Reasonably priced as well.

This was by far one of the best things I did for myself in Thailand! Somphon is the most incredible chef and person. Just lovely. The lessons were easy to understand and the food we created was outstanding. Thank God we got to eat it all..so, so good. If you really want to experience a true part of Thailand then... More

The cooking school was one of our favorite activities in Chiang Mai. We did the "Shopping at the Market" class and it was really fun to go to the market and explore and learn more about the ingredients. The food we made was AMAZING and the best meal we had in Thailand

Was really excited about this experience and Chef Tanapon and his staff didn't disappoint. He showed great skills, humour and was attentive to helping us produce our master dishes. Would highly recommend this as a thing to do in Chiang Mia. Food was deliciously good and learning the finer arts of Thai ingredients and cooking was dont in a fun... More

We were arriving late to Chiang Mai and would have missed the opportunity to attend the course if it were not for the accomodating staff at Chiang Mai Thai Cookery School; they helped us out and picked us up from the airport delivering us directly to the class. We did the full day course with the 6 meals and market... More

By far the best cookery course that I have ever taken. Chef Tanapon is friendly, funny and a great teacher. I would recommend taking the full 5 day program if you really want to develop an understanding of the basics of Thai cooking.
