the jj market is one of the largest of its kind and it's good for seeing all possible kinds of goods on a relatively small area. there are all varieties of foods and many souvenirs. too bad that many vendors don't give in to haggling - this was some kind of a deal breaker for me.

Pleasant cool environment less crowd during day time. Many eateries in every floor to choose from Thai to fast food.Money exchange takes a long time in the bank. Parking little difficult.

Food, clothing, footwear, interior, jewelry and even live animals which i strongly disliked. im a big animal lover and i just hated to see all those poor animals in cages. although they were clean i just think it is not the right circumstances for an animal. squirrel tied to their cage, birds who couldnt fly anymore, puppies in small cages... There is also a large grocery/department store where you can get most thing but don't look for bargain on western item here as these are western prices. outside the prices were much better and we enjoyed walking through the garden/nursery area. most things... don't see any reason to go to Jj market, boring shops, and many of the store fronts are empty. there is a rimping supermarket, overpriced western goods.

Recommend to see Thailand quality and trendy clothe at JJ market. You could find interesting stuff for souvenir that we couldn't see other place in Rimping supermarket. A tiny massage shop is located behind the supermarket will give you comfortable time. The service was excellent!
