Being a vegetarian I couldn't be happier to find out (via Lonely Planet) about the cooking classes at May Kaidee's. I followed the 4 hour Thai cooking course in the morning (9 am-1pm) and it was worth every penny (or the 1500 baht I paid for, easily on the very clear website). The instructor of the day was Tuk, an... More

I had a few hours to spare on a long layover in Bangkok so I booked a bicycle trip with Grasshopper tours. On the way back to Khao San Road and stumbled on this place and decided to enquire about a cooking course. I booked at 11am for the 2pm 3 hr cooking class. As I recall it cost about... More

I would HIGHLY recommend this class to anyone visiting Bangkok. Positives: 1. Value - for $30, we got to learn to make 3 dishes, Tom Yum paste, and eat a full meal 2. Fun - Tuk was an amazing instructor - funny, kind, clear and passionate about Thai food. We learned so much from talking to him. No matter what... More

Really pleased to have chosen this cooking course. We decided the night before whilst eating at the restaurant, persuaded by the delicious food we had at the restaurant. On the course we cooked a lot of thai dishes, and left with a great booklet filled with recipes. Our instructor, Tuk, was really informative and helpful, and gave us a lot... More

This place is a cooking school & also a restaurant, focusing on Fresh food & veg food. We did the tofu making class, was very good :) Starting from scratch, & finishing with a big buffet lunch we rolled out the door. I think (from memory) the class was stated as 10am-3pm, but we were finished by 1pm. Was very... More

I had wanted to do this cooking school from the minute I saw the reviews. When I planned my trip to Bangkok I made sure I fit it in. My husband wasn't to keen on joining me. I was really glad that my tour guide helped me find the school. We were very impressed with the cooking class. There were... More

This cooking class was excellent! The organized setup here makes it fun and simple to try your hand at cooking many dishes. Super delicious and great advice on how to make Thai food vegetarian!
