Fun unique place

This is a hidden jewel in the huge city of Bangkok. A unique type of place, with a good two-story venue, great music, good food, and friendly crowd.

This really rather amazing bar would have got straight 5s were it not for the slight slowness of the food and the Cleo Lane singer. The first set was by a guitarist who played music from my youth- Cat Stevens et al. He was excellent and deeply modest. The next group had the most fabulous Drummer, Bassist and Saxophanist! They... Great Place, cool layout, good beer. I actually saw a band and a Frank Sinatra crooner, great drummer. There is sometimes jazz music. I had a Polaner German dark beer. Basically a place that swings.

I don't think I ever would have found this place without a hot tip from a friend on the other side of the country, but sure enough saxophone is as good a jazz club atmosphere as any I've ever been to. Well, minus the smokey barroom I suppose. The Playlist maybe a little pop on certain nights of the week,... More

My husband and I were vacationing in Thailand and went to Saxophone Pub to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This place is really chill. We enjoyed the band and the music they sang. The drinks were good and the food was delicious. I would definitely go back on my next trip to Bangkok.

Excellent.... very excellent.... it's not a Jazz pub per se. Main set (9-11:30) music varies every night - Jazz on Monday/Tuesday, Big Band with a strong horn section on Wed and Thursday and an eclectic Blues based band on Fri/Sat. The Big Band is a real treat.. Food is very good. Wide variety of basic Thai plus some international selections.... More

You have to like jazz, if not don't go but for every jazz lover it's a great down to earth bar with plenty of atmosphere. It gets crowded so if you arrive later yo may struggle for a seat for a while but we had no problems. There are plenty of waiting staff so no long waits, seats close up... More

They have an acoustic guitar player every night from 7:30-8:30. Every time I have been the musician has been amazing. They then have other live bands that follow. It is always entertaining, and you don't see great live music at many venues in Bangkok. The atmosphere is great. I love the Yam Woon Sen (spicy Thai seafood salad). The curry... More
