It gets crowded fast but the crowd was fairly mature and well-behaved and clearly there for the music, which is generally pretty good but Ped's Band is the real standout act there. They play the middle set, starting around 10 or 11 on Fridays and Saturdays. You should probably go around 8+ or 9 to be able to get in... More

Having been to jazz clubs all over the world, Saxophone features in the top league in my book. Even a major Asian city like Singapore doesn't have anything even close. Many European and North American cities do not have this quality of jazz. There's Ronnie Scot's in London, but after paying a hefty cover charge, you may end up with... More

The night I visited the music was jazz and blues and the artists were pretty talented. The drinks were reasonable and tasty. The other patrons were lively. It was a nice spot to spend an evening but I saw no dancing.

The place is great. And they have really good music and bands. Mostly jazz and blues musik. I spent a few hours in the pub yesterday, and had a very good time. They have a lot of cocktails and drinks in their drinking list. Most of them are priced around 180-200 baht. A normal Thai beer around 130-140 baht. The... More

Saxophone is a nice live music venue in the Victory Monument area. There are regular jazz shows and the restaurant serves decent meals. Good music, great ambience, nice food and lovely staff. Well recommended!

Went here to listen to a bit of live music and share a few cocktails with the Mrs the other night. We enjoyed the band and the place has a really nice look, but the staff, although helpful, seemed totally jaded about something. No Thai smiles here! Also I think their cocktails are more like mocktails.. I had four and... More

After a nice meal at the Living Room with some classic jazz I just had to head over to my favourite bar for something more racy. Hit it bang on with big band night. Fantastic night out at sensible prices. You can't go wrong. Food great also.

I went there last night and enjoyed the music but the staff need to be talked to. I was trying to get a simple glass of red wine which they don't sell by the glass which is stupid for a Jazz bar and if the waiter had any sense he would have opened a bottle and charged me more per... More
