Best Jazz in town

With location on the victory monument skytrain, we can walk down to this pub easily, Jazz band will start at 9pm until 1am. When we come here, like we visit our long lost old friend.Greeting from staff, nice tasty food and drink is fabulous. We can lie down on sitting table on 2nd floor and listen the music on the... Saxophone is the best place in Bangkok to listen to real big band jazz from big name artists and musicians. It's great for a weekend out on the town, but be aware that the place isn't that big. When trumpets blow right in your ear, you won't hear much for the rest of the night. Worth the price of the... More

We reached early and could listen to the acoustic guitar and the band concerts. Both were very different and awesome! Besides great music, the cocktails were good and the food delicious (fried rice, panang curry, coconut seafood soup presented inside the coconut). Great ambiance and decorations! I definitely recommend the place to people who want to have a dinner and... More

Not a big fan of jazz but the experience of live music right in front of you gets you into it and after a few beers along with the nice food it turns into another good night out in BKK, would come back again.

I went there once on a Saturday evening, it was a good idea. Atmosphere is very nice, music they play is good, band quality is on a professional side and good quality thai food is a big plus. Cocktails could be less sweet though. Highly recommended !

You walk in through a door tucked away down a soi, and enter a different world, where Jazz is the force holding it all together. A long time favorite of mine, the best music starts late, but come early to get a good seat. I'll probably be up in the balcony.

I went here just after Christmas to listen to Ped's Band and had a great time.. The place was full - had energy (mainly Thai people with very few foreigners) This is a great place in a central location, I would expect it to have a greater selection of international or visiting bands - but their program is still very... It gets crowded fast but the crowd was fairly mature and well-behaved and clearly there for the music, which is generally pretty good but Ped's Band is the real standout act there. They play the middle set, starting around 10 or 11 on Fridays and Saturdays. You should probably go around 8+ or 9 to be able to get in... More

Having been to jazz clubs all over the world, Saxophone features in the top league in my book. Even a major Asian city like Singapore doesn't have anything even close. Many European and North American cities do not have this quality of jazz. There's Ronnie Scot's in London, but after paying a hefty cover charge, you may end up with... More
