Saxophone is a nice live music venue in the Victory Monument area. There are regular jazz shows and the restaurant serves decent meals. Good music, great ambience, nice food and lovely staff. Well recommended!

Went here to listen to a bit of live music and share a few cocktails with the Mrs the other night. We enjoyed the band and the place has a really nice look, but the staff, although helpful, seemed totally jaded about something. No Thai smiles here! Also I think their cocktails are more like mocktails.. I had four and... More

After a nice meal at the Living Room with some classic jazz I just had to head over to my favourite bar for something more racy. Hit it bang on with big band night. Fantastic night out at sensible prices. You can't go wrong. Food great also.

I went there last night and enjoyed the music but the staff need to be talked to. I was trying to get a simple glass of red wine which they don't sell by the glass which is stupid for a Jazz bar and if the waiter had any sense he would have opened a bottle and charged me more per... More

Due to the curfew, we were forced to eat here for dinner one night. Loved the place, great music and atmosphere, very quirky and rustic. We ordered 2 dishes of chicken and asparagus and chicken with watercress, the asparagus was nice (nothing spectacular which is pretty normal for a pub environment). But when the other chicken was brought out, we... More

Went to this bar with my wife after a great meal near the river. Band and music were fantastic, with friendly staff, however, there was only one bottle of white wine on the menu, which they had run out of!! Please, please, please, dont have them sit you near the back, close to mens toilet the stink of urine is... More
