I've taken two classes at Blue Elephant Cooking School, and enjoyed them both to the extreme. With the morning classes you have a tour of the local market and learn about Thai vegetables and meats - with a sampling of local coffee in a bag. Then it's back to the class room where Chef Noor makes a quick appearance and... More

Offering a course for professional Chefs, I signed up for a week long class and was blown away by the instructors and quality of the food

We decided to do the morning session as I thought the visit to the market would be fun. However, we are a well traveled couple who has lived in Asia so we did not get as much out of the market as we thought. As for the cooking, the demonstrations and cooking practical was fun. Most of the ingredients had... More

The well respected Blue Elephant Cooking School was great fun - after carefully observing the chef take us step by step through making Thai fish cakes and prawn curry, our group were lead to the instruction kitchen where we were divided into teams of 4 to try our hand at replicating the dishes. Although the ingredients were pre-prepared (sliced, cut,... More

July 24, 2015 This is my first cooking class at the Blue Elephant Cooking School. This is a half day program where you cook a 4-course meal. There is a morning shift (8:45 am – 1:00 pm) and an afternoon shift (1:00 pm – 4:00 pm). My sister and I chose the morning shift. Only the morning class will have... More

The service at this place was exceptional, so was the quality of the food. All the dishes we ordered was amazing apart from the vegetarian mushroom with lemongrass sizzler. Too many large chunks of lemongrass were added which were very difficult to chew, however the staff took on board our opinion and we did not get charged for this dish.... More

The best cooking school I have been to (been to few across the globe). Complete experience, very well organised and very clear way of explanation of cooking principles. I loved every bit of it.. Will be back for sure

We signed up to do the half day cooking class including the market tour and four Thai dishes. Fortuitously, we were staying right next door at the Eastin Grand Hotel in Sathorn, but it wouldn't be hard to get to with the Surasak BTS stop right on the door step. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, the staff were all... More

After 2 excellent dinners at Blue Elephant in Brussels, I got now an opportunity to try out the Blue Elephant Restaurant and Cooking School in Bangkok. We were 4 colleagues/friends, and for 3 of them, this was a first Blue Elephant experience. And an experience it was! The building is magnificent, an old mansion, both from the outside and inside.... I took my first class at the school already in 2005 and came back in 2014 for more. Now, the BE restaurants are great (but thats a different review) - their cooking classes clearly deliver against this high quality standard I prefer the morning class, where you go first to a local market, the have the class (cooking 4 course...
