Nice food but it's a tad too expensive given that it's away from main areas and food is averagely good. Not many know of this restaurant..

This my second time at the Blue Elephant, cookery School. It wont be my last. All the classes are well organised and simple to understand. You can do a 1 day course, 3 day course or a week, in a group or 1on1 private classes. The Restaurants and Schools are owned and run by Chef Noor, One of Thailand most... More

Heard so much of this place but disappointed with food as they are already 'adulterated' to the taste of the visiting tourists. There are better ones in Bangkok Good service staff & beautiful wooden house.

I have been testing many restaurants around the world now yet I am no excellent chef myself. So I thought why not to start learning. As I am staying in Bangkok I found this place and although I was bit afraid that I will be the only beginner there it wasn't too hard for me. The chef spoke very good... More

Neither my partner nor I are new to Thai cooking at home (he more experienced than I) however, we both wanted to see if we could move our cooking experience to the next level. We were not disappointed as this basic introductory one-afternoon class, offered some of the traditional methods of balances spices in Thai Cooking. From bashing Coriander roots,... More

My daughter and I booked online with an email for the morning cooking class December 28. After a trip to the local market where we were introduced to many different Thai spices and vegetables and fish we headed back via sky train one stop to the restaurant. The chef was very humorous and gave great demonstrations. There were 12 of... More

Really recommend if you like cooking! We did this as one of the activities on our honeymoon booked through Exotissimo Thailand tours. There were 8 in our class, mix of ages and culinary abilities! We went on a tour of a local market with one of the chefs which was really good and informative, and then made 5 dishes back... More

We took the option of the market tour prior to the cooking class - this was a really interesting introduction to the class and it was particularly useful to physically see the ingredients which are often used in Thai recipes but which we as foreigners are not really familiar with. The class itself was excellent- our teacher was Jay and... More

This was one of the highlights of our trip, the trip to the market was really interesting and the food we cooked was delicious. They were good at helping me adapt the dishes I made to remove the soy sauce (to make them gluten free) and everything was delicious. We also had a great time with the other people on... More
