2 friends was in town recently and I decide them to see the official views of Bangkok from state tower, it been a while I went there and the friends love the scenic skylight of Bangkok. The views is always spectacular , with a clear 270 degree of the city, its a great way to start your night tour in... More

This is one of those places that you just need to go experience once. Go get a drink at the top floor circle bar and take in the view. Everytime I have gone it's incredibly windy but so beautiful. If you are not afraid of heights then go stand next to the plexiglass wall and look over the side and... More

Nice place to go for dinner or just drinks. Dress code required. Expensive place with priceless views . Worth very penny.

It seems I provided an initial review that was deemed inappropriate so I will keep my statements very bland. The view from here of the Chao Praya and Bangkok are fantastic, especially at sunset and at night. The drink prices are outrageous - what you would pay for a drink at a high-end club in LA/NY. I also was not... More

In the 63rd floor you have an amazing view over the city and the personal are very professional and friendly. Besides this, nothing more.. the drinks at the bar are extremely expensive (around 800baht for a cocktail) and you have no place to sit and relax. Have been in others skyscrapers with an inferior view but with an awesome atmosphere... More

This truly was a highlight of the trip. It's the same bar that's in the Hangover. It's called Sirocco, which I think is the name of the hotel. And the bar is actually called Luapa. We went at night and it was a wonderful view. The prices are something akin to Las Vegas drink prices, where you'll pay $10 for... More

Made even more famous by hosting the Hangover II boys during filming in Bangkok, Sky Bar rooftop at Lebua State Tower offers one of the best views in the city. 63 floors up and overlooking the river, it has become a must-do for a sundowner cocktail. If you arrive before 18:00 (when Sky Bar opens) you can still have a... More

It's totally overrated and overpriced. I had a beer in the sky bar for about 50 dollars. Waiting for elevators takes 30-40 mins in evening. A lot of people, very dangerous staircase at the observation desk.

Bangkok doesn’t not have that impressive of a sky line, and this building is not very tall. I have been to many other famous tall buildings (John Hancock in Chicago, CN tower in Toronto and KL Tower in KL) and they are all much better than this. Also, the people here are very shady as they don’t even bring you... More
