My fiance and I ate on their Terrace 2 times and food was very good...of course they don't understand english much but waiters were doing their best to be helpful.
We were entertained by the lively street and people walking by. Be prepared because It seemed to be a favorite place of odd couples including "Bar hostesses" and their "companions"....

That is how I would describe this place. It looks nice it feels nice but when you go there it is not that good. The food is horrible and I mean that in the nicest way. The three dishes we had consisted of a Chicken pot Pie (Gristle pot pie more like it) and it was disgusting. They failed to...

Visited for the first time in July 2011 with two friends. Situated on Sukhumvit Soi 5 about 75 metres down on the right hand side. From the outside looks inviting with tables and chairs outside.
Gullivers is a typical western style over-priced bar / restaurant. It has an American feel to it with a large American style car in the...

They did away with their happy hour at both locations. The food is barely average and overpriced. They are stingy with the liquor in their cocktails. Overall it went down hill since many previous visits.

To put it succintly, there are many more better places to go if you want to experience TRUE Thai hospitality. Gulliver's is an establishment that wants the westerner's money but does not understand providing any kind of service.
The service is slow and unresponsive. The food, at best, is mediocre and overpriced. The price of beer is average for the...

I ate here with some visiting friends on 12NOV10 for dinner at their Sukhumvit 5 location. Note that Gulliver’s has five total restaurant locations in the Kingdom; Three in metro Bangkok (Sukhumvit Road 5, Khao San Road, and Mayompuri 22), as well as two in...

Well after coming here for 6 years I have finally given up... the Thai service ethic (i.e. no service) and so variable food is a nightmare... It is sad but this is a classic example of a place with no western manager yet wants to cater to westerners... (all their clientele) - so the shortsighted money pinching approach renders this...

Waitress was nice and friendly, food was dissapointing. Bar was not stocked with not top shelf choice.. menu has little to select from, and very greasy. Location was good though.

I had a bad experience at Gulliver's Sukhumvit. I was drawn to it because of the large relaxed outside eating area. I ordered the tom yung gung and the prawn and squid salad "a must try" according to the menu. The tom yung was good but the salad was very poor. The squid and prawns tasted as if they had...
