Hot and sweaty but great for a bargin. The main st in bangkok, every one goes here, It even features in the film The beach. We have just returned from Pataya Beach. We stayed at Sawasdee Inn Hotel at Khao San Road. The hotel is ok. I booked from my home country, so I no need to looking for arround. If you want to stay near Khao san road but don't like the noise, I've discovered a peaceful alternative. It's a new guesthouse (opened June 2006) on Tannee Road ( a couple of streets away from Khao san.)
