Lumphini Park is an Oasis of calm in the bedlam of BKK. Located at Rama IV Road, between Ratchadamri Road and Witthayu Road. You get get there by MRT, Lumphini or Saladeang Station or BTS Silom or Ratchadamri. Big green space with ponds. Sit in the shade next to the water and suddenly you're not in crazy, chaotic BKK anymore.... more

We arrived in Bangkok early in the morning, too early to check into the Hotel. Took a walk to Lumphini park and found a park full of activities. A out door gym, Locals practising Tai Chi, Joggers and generally a lot of excitement for that early in the morning! Saw a huge water monitor drinking from the lake. Overall a... more
