The train system was very easy to understand and follow. It doesn't go everywhere, but it goes to main areas for shopping and such. It is cheap, but make sure you have plenty of coins, as the ticket machines only take coins. There is an office to give coins if needed. They offer day passes if you will be taking... More

Bangkok's most expensive public transport but easy to use, and takes you to the markets and the river cruise boats very easily

The skytrain is very fast and clean. But One great thing about the skytrain is that they have a well train team of customer services. For example if you ask about one destination you want to go, they can tell you every accurate instruction to there. Not only which station to switch/go down, then which gate to out and also... More

Great way of getting around the busy streets of Skytrain. Clean, and easy to use, highly recommend getting yourself acquainted with this form of transport when you're in Bangkok.

I love the tuktuks but the skytrain is much more efficient. So easy to use and fast. Especially in peak hour.

Very inexpensive and clearly the best way to get around Bangkok. The BTS website shows detailed maps and tourist info for each BTS stop. We were in Bangkok for 9 days so we bought the monthly card and charged it up and then we were refunded for the card on our last day. This was clearly cheaper than buying the... More

The best way to get around Bangkok is to use the sky train it's easy and so much quicker than a taxi as there is so much traffic in Bangkok. It's just like the tubes in London tells you what stop you need so no worries about getting lost but then again that can be fun.

Useful service but lots of stairs and the signage could be clearer. Good during rush hour or for short trips.
