A nice big Buddah worth seeing

When went there it happened to be a ceremony with a lot of noise and people, but the place is worth seeing for 20 minutes of your time. Nice temple too

Like most temples in Thailand this temple too is very beautiful. Words cannot express the beauty of the Golden Buddha Statue. You have to see it to really appreciate it. Well worth a visit even if you are not a Buddhist. Be Appropriately dressed as a mark of respect to Buddhism. Also be conscious of confident tricksters & pickpockets although... More

A good place to visit, the 'Gold' (plated) Buddha was paid for by the Chinese, all in all a very interesting and peaceful place - even in the rain!

The 32 meters high image of Buddha is located in Wat Intharawihan, a small temple close to Dusit. At the beginning I thought it was fully made of gold but later I found out it was made of bricks and stucco and finally the golden finish had been applied. There is a supporting structure behind the statue with stairs which... More

A very tall Golden Buddha not far from KSR. Impressive size and nice displays around the courtyard. They do except donations. Worth a look.

The budha has an impressive view, but I have to say that due the amount of other gorgeous Budha statues in Thailand, this is one of the average images. All of the Budhas visited are impresive.

Never seen anything like this before, it was huge. You can see the detail on the giant feet at the bottom. Got in for free because it was a holy day.

It's a Thai historic landmark since this huge statue is make of solid gold and it'll only cost you about 15 minutes as there isn't all that much else to see. Worth the time to visit. Long live the King

I could not have imagined the beauty of the Phra Phuttha Maha Suwan Patimakon. Amazing history of the rediscovery. Long live King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
