Description: One of the largest and most atmospheric night markets in the city...
One of the largest and most atmospheric night markets in the city, Ratchada Night Bazaar makes a great alternative to boozy Bangkok nights. Arrive around midnight to see it in full swing, when it will be bustling with locals and full to bursting with vintage knickknacks, quirky clothing and cute accessories. As you’d expect from a Bangkok market, you’ll find everything from retro cars to jewelery to furniture, books and baby rabbits.

I was staying at a nearby hotel so decided to walk there. Night market is 1min walk from the subway. Half of it is selling food. The other half sells mainly clothes, handphone accessories, ladies accessories. Many are repeated. Each stall is small and thus not much variety. There are stalls doing manicure, eyebrow design and fake tattoos. I took... More

We went here on recomendation from Thai friends and it is truly a cool place The food is maybe not the best but very affordable, desert was excellent though. There are many cool places to visits and interesting locally designed vendors and small hole in the wall bars. Check their Facebook page for when there is Swap Meet or concerts,... More

Got to know about this night market from a like-minded friend who raved about this place hence we put it into our itinerary during the recent trip. It was raining earlier and by the time we arrived, the market was a bit wet but it did not dampen the spirit as we could feel the positive vibe almost immediately. The... More

The Ratchada Night Bazaar is a nice alternative to the Rot Fai Night Market. It's nearer to the Bangkok city area (at Thailand Cultural Centre Metro station). Be sure to go after sundown to avoid the hot weather. The crowd starts streaming after 7pm as well.

Having been to most of the night markets in Bangkok, I was sceptical initially and expected another typical Silom style walking street. Surprisingly, the new Ratchada Night market is very well organised, with proper sectioning of street foods and other interesting finds ( clothings, cute handycraft and stuff etc ). It is not too big scale, so you can really... More

I went to both Rot Fai markets, Srinakirin (the older one) and Ratchada. I personally like the one in Ratchada. It’s smaller, but mainly comprise of more interesting, quirkier goods. While the one in Srinakirin, although has many more stalls, will make a harder treasure hunt,, you have to really dig deep into the market to find whatever it is... More

Typical Bangkok market where you can find everything - leather bags, clothes, trinkets, furniture, antiques - most of them second hand but there is also new stuff. You can eat something at the food stalls. I don't think it is worth a visit - it is quite far from downtown. I went there because my hotel was a couple of... More

You need to walk in about 250 mts befor you get to good food at good prices... lots of traffic, bikes like maniacs and rip offs. UNLUCKILY We ate at Noi seafood LHS about 100 meters in... STEER CLEAR... initially wanted 200... More

Great place for shopping and bargaining! :) I can spend hours and hours here. Food is everywhere too. So no worries. It is also very accessible and almost all TukTuk drivers know where it is..... Will be there again for sure. Manuel

As the say in Thailand -same same but different. This is a very busy market with many vendors but nothing different same old stuff. Nice visit to view this area of Bangkok and absorb the cultural activity. However I would not spend a lot of time and money here but save yourself for JJ weekend Market.
