I recently (April 2012) had two day tours with of BKK tours from Bangkok. As I was by myself I thought I would benefit from a guide for each day, saving me having to sort things out for myself and leaving more time to take photos, my all-consuming hobby. Air was my guide for this great tour. She took me through the slum area of Bangkok, then to tourist free temples. These temples were fantastic, with rows of buddahs and great photo opportunities. My wife and I spent a day with Michiel Bosch and our guide Oi soaking in the sights of Bangkok ... Michiel's insights as to the best places to photograph and get a feel for the local lifestyle made the trip worthwhile. Air met us at our hotel at 7.00 am. We caught a taxi to the Makkasan station, had a look around at the local food market, and then walked through the slums of Makkasan.
