Excellent cruise, specially around King's B'day / New Years. Very good service, nice clean boat, good view. Good live band. Ample space, not overcrowded. Recommended!

Spending evening in Bangkok on Chao Phraya Princess IV is a must for Indians. Two hours sailing through the river at night is splendorous. Food is good with snacks/starters and main course is good to eat and taste. Music played is Indian and good. The selection of songs are latest and updated. Recommended

I was here with my family in the first week of December 2014. I had included hotel pick and drop in the ticket fee. The mini-bus driver was on time to pick us up and dropped us at the River City Mall to board the cruise. I had requested for a table on the upper deck and the team gladly... More

Make sure you pay for the more upmarket dinner and stay inside the air conditioned area. The rush to get on has not changed. Hang on to your kids as the push can be frightening. Once on the cruse the main indoor buffet is good the music is topical but the views are exceptional. My Review Icon is from that... More

Yes, an evening cruise on Chao Phraya River sounds romantic and appealing but in fact it may be your worst Thai experience. 1. Boarding The cruise was fully booked and most of the visitors came from China. By the time the boat arrived, there was a real stampede and ill-mannered people shoved and pushed their way to get inside. Nothing... More

We took this cruise in late November 2014. As noted in earlier posts, we boarded no.4, which is kind of dedicated for Indian tourists. Good: Nice ambiance, Indian veg food availability Not so good: Overall value We booked this through agent, and as in Thailand, it is cheaper with agents than booking online. We were greeted (or attacked!!!) by staff... More

My husband and I went on the Chao Phraya Princess IV for Loy Krathong (November 6) this year. Since it was the festival night, the price of the cruise was more than what they usually charge. We asked for a seat on the lower deck by a window so we were able to see the krathongs sent out into the... More

The price was quite expensive per pax. Our boat was Chao Phraya Princess V. The boat was pretty and clean. We bought the lower deck seating for the non smoking area. First we got seated close with other group but once the ship left the dock, we got moved to empty window seat so we appreciated the staff's gesture. The... More
