Expensive, but worth it!

I had booked the 3,5 hour package, including body scrub, massage and facial. Everything was great: beautiful facilities, very well trained staff and expert masseuse.

Lovely setting in a colonial style building but other than that I couldn't see why such rave reviews. My therapist (male) was average at best, and massage felt very stop/start and he seemed unfit (breathing heavily) and knocking the table, etc. His technique was probably the worst I'd ever experienced in Bangkok (not terrible - but not great). I think... More

We attended the spa as a group of 12 ladies and they quickly had us all organised and paired off into the treatment rooms for our various relaxing indulgences. The ladies were graceful, polite and careful to attend to the needs of all of us and I can say it was one of the best spa experiences I have ever... More

Alot more expensive than other spas in Bangkok, however, it is worth every penny. From the oneset, a boat taking you across the river to the spa you feel calm and at ease. Away from the hustle and the bustle of the city, the service is amazing. The girls are lovely, help you with products, explain each different massage clear.... More

The spa at the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok is situated on the opposite side of the river from the main hotel, but the hotel's shuttle boats will take you across the river - this for me is always a nice start at the spa. The building is all wood and has a wonderful old world charm and feel, tranquil and relaxing... More

Noon in Thailand is still hot even the summer is yet to come, perfect to go spa and the Oriental Spa is a perfect choice. The Oriental Signature Treatment in combination of Thai and European message techniques is highly recommended.

I booked the spa a month prior to my trip to Bangkok. the package was for 3 hours, including body scrub, body massage, herbal compress, and rose facial. I arrived early and waited for half an hour. The service was very excellent, polite and pleasant. The individual room was very comfortable and well equipped. I had very tense muscle on... More

Was having lunch at the Verandah and had a massage booked at another hotel spa and suddenly thought why didn't I book here? Called them it was three and they were able to slot me in at 3:30. Perfect. I had been quite regular in the past but not for perhaps 3 or 4 years so I was a bit... More

Make sure you get to the ferry at least 15 minutes before your treatment time so you don’t have to rush. As a huge fan of the Oriental Spa, especially its Ayurvedic treatments, I tried the Keraleeya Anhyangam (Indian body treatment with massage, steam and scrub) which was absolutely divine!

Another sublime experience. This emblematic spa is still the very best I have experienced , from staff to it's surrounding and fantastic treatment selection. No words would describe the experience. A true heaven of tranquility in paradise. A must for spa lovers
