I went to a ladyboy show in Chiang Mai which was a quarter of the price and ten times more fun. This was perhaps aimed at a more international/Eastern audience as half of the performances left me completely lost, bored or even uncomfortable. There were too many OTT costumes and theatrics instead of focussing on the performers themselves (let's be... More

Seeing the lady-boys to perform was fun. It is hard to believe they look exactly like women. The dancing was quite nicely organized and rehearsed. One could tell they enjoyed themselves giving the performance. This is part of the Thai culture that this country is well-known for.

I have been to Thailand many times and have seen ladyboy shows in all the big resorts, and this turned out to be the worst we have seen , it was definintely overpriced at 1200 bahts per person even though it included a free drink , the seats though in a good position were terribly uncomfortable and the format of the... The venue was quite grand, the service was excellent, the acts were beautiful and some were hilarious. A must see.

We enjoyed the show very much, even though it was hard to understand the english of the announcer. It's a fast tempo cabaret show with the typical cabaret songs and razzle dazzle of showbiz. Bottom line; don't expect the best unless you pay the most. Just enjoy!

dont even try to understand what the emcees are saying, you wont be able to. Just enjoy the show and have a good laugh. They tried their their best but nothing much they can do except miming and twist and twirl on stage. Overall good effort. I guess the highlight is after the show where patrons can take photos with... The Calypso Cabaret was not 100% as expected, but nevertheless we felt entertained and enjoyed the show. Nice costumes, funny Calypso boys and girls - they have been much better than the "STARS". Lypsinc was a real disaster and should be trained much more to make the show more realistic.

You would like a few numbers but a lot of them bore me at my seat that I almost fell asleep. Performances are definitely not world-class with the bad lip sync and poor English that foreigners could barely understand.

We had high expectations of the Calypso Cabaret show and were very disappointed. there was no theme to the show - just bits joined together. Protest banners/free your mind ?? Japanese geisha ?? Hava Nagila - A mix of Jewish/Japanese/Chinese. The sound system was appalling the dancers the lip syncing was embarrassing . The costumes were fabulous but the rest... More
