Description:

We want to offer spa-goers a professional, clean, and affordable...

We want to offer spa-goers a professional, clean, and affordable experience. We emphasize the quality of our professional staff, our spa products, and our cleanliness. Supplies are ordered in smaller batches to ensure freshness when they are used, herbal balls are never re-used and fresh towels are changed for each guest. These are some of our commitments to provide you with the best services, at reasonable prices.

We have two branches conveniently located for public transportation. (Right next to BTS exit!) The first one is opposite to the Emporium Department Store and the other one is near Asoke Junction opposite to Terminal 21 Department Store.

*WOW* Better than Health Land. Expensive, but worth it. Very professional yet friendly staff. I've tried the Urban Retreat Thai massage, the Aroma Oil, and the "Urban Touch" warm oil massage. All were professionally therapeutic, yet extremely pleasurable. The massage ladies are sensitive, they communicate well, always asking if you want more pressure, less pressure, etc. The rooms and the... More

I have been coming to see Kae for many years. The quality of the wax is excellent. This spa is very clean and well organized. As the New Yorker with high standards, Kae has exceeded them!

The location is good, only 2 mins walk from Asoke BTS station. The renovation of the shop is ok. Tried four hands massage here but don't expect too much, the ladies do not asked you which area you would like to concentrate to massage. The pricing is a bit expensive in the town (THB2250).

Nothing special....but this place is clean and staff friendly. Good enough for me! Room is spacious. Trip Advisor wants 100 characters so I will say this again: Nothing special....but this place is clean and staff friendly. Good enough for me!

My hubby and I opted for the blissful spa package that comes with a warm coconut oil head massage, a body scrub, a body wrap and a full body massage and pressed with not overly hot herbal balls at the end of the treatment. It lasted for 3 hours 20 minutes for 3500 baht per pax ($140 Singapore dollars). It... More

I went for a 2-hour long foot massage at 950 Baht. I won't say it's really worth the money and a bit disappointing after reading so many raving reviews before. First, the reception area looks nice. But the room for foot massage is NOT. Very simple with not much decoration at all. Second, the therapist is friendly but can't say... More

We had a massage side by side. They had a deal on their website. They opened at 10am so we booked for 11.30am. Booking is a must! 50min scrub followed by 90min rose hip oil massage. 2250baht each. Well worth the money. Beautiful staff, beautiful service.

I went for the 1 hour Milk & Honey massage. Good service and the masseur is attentive as she will check if you are alright with the strength. The masseur didn't demand for tips as I have heard some horror stories from other spa.

Urban Retreat is an excellent spa - a legitimate spa - in the heart of Bangkok. After a grueling plane trip across the globe a visit here is just the ticket. Yes, it is more pricey than the spas all around, but it is a clean, professional atmosphere with no chance of any misunderstandings. For me, that was worth the... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
