We have just returned from the City to Shore tour. We had been booked for yesterday but I was unwell so they let us go today, which was great. It was a small group and the group leader was great. Calm, informative, funny and made you feel safe even when trying to negotiate the busy Bangkok roads by bike!! We... More

This is the best city tour I have ever had. The night temples with no tourists, the back alley streets and the night flower market are just a few of the highlights

Thank you for such a nice review. "The best city tour I ever had". Wow! That is quite something. We are humbled and grateful at the same time. It is a beautiful tour full of color and away from the crush of the tourist crowds. More

A great evening on a bike discovering the hidden paths of Bangkok with five other people and our excellent guide. By night all the treasures of the city look quite different and the Wats are quite beautiful. We sampled, delicious street food, including insects! visited the amazing flower and veg market and the views as we rode around were just terrific.

I booked this bike trip back in the UK paid the money all went so well. I arrived after a 50 min taxi ride through busy Bangkok from my hotel in Sukhumvit. It's not anywhere near the Skytrain or MRT station so you're better off getting a taxi. See my review on Chef Leez Cookery school Bangkok of why I... More

When I arrived at the Grasshoppers shop, the mountainbikes were already prepared and adjusted to my height, that was very good. I coul leave my bag at the shop, as it is not convenient to cycle with a bag. Generally, it was quite interesting to see Bangkok at night but the temples we visited were not too exciting. Whereas the... More

We appreciate you taking the time to write a review. This tour is our most popular tour mostly because we take you to 3 of the most famous tourist sites in Bangkok at a time of day when there are few tourists, the temperature is cooler and the places are illuminated and colorful. We are sorry that this did tour... More

it was an amazing experience to ride through bangkok during night. was a small group with app. 10-15 people and our guide (andy) was quite amazing: supportive, friendly and very knowledged. we saw places which are really impressive during night and they were not overloaded with tourist, like they are during the day.

Loved the path we took through the city after dark, but wish I knew more about where we are, since we saw some cool stuff, ranging from narrow streets with bars and businesses, to neighborhoods, to industrial areas. I just didn't know what I was always seeing. That said, the ride was easy, fun, and seeing the temples after dark... More

Biking at night turned out to be the most relaxing way to visit the larger sites as they were deserted except for a few monks and cats

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighborhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
