As we stayed in the Siam@siam designhotel nearby, we passed this gorgeously shaped building nearly every day. It's grandeur had me thinking it was an institution of art, and we needed to take some hours visiting this... Unfortunately, the inside is a collection of little shops/artists displaying their artwork, and not a high-end museum I thought it was. The inspiration... More

I loved this spot! It's low key and uncrowded w mix of local and tourists. In fact I tried to buy some art from one of the artists being displayed but she's in Japan and haven't connected yet. Coffee and snack spots on ground floor and 2nd /3rd floors plus some really cool shops! I'd do this with a visit... More

Directly off the National Stadium BTS stop and just opposite the entrance to MBK , BACC is easy to find and a lovely place to drop into after an exhausting trawl through MBK! The coffee shops are quiet and relaxing, there are some little arty shops which are pleasant to browse in and one where I regularly go to pick... More

I found myself at the BACC purely by accident and am glad that I didn't go out of my way to spend precious time here. It really is a shopping mall disguised as a gallery with most of the space being taken up by overpriced artsy stores and cafés. The saving grace was the artist who did a lovely charcoal... More

Whenever I visit Bangkok I make sure to get to this cultural showcase of art and local culture. This is a free venue, the only cost is your time to explore. Within the center are some permanent businesses that are worth exploring, particularly the Film Museum that offers free movies on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the time of this... More

We enjoyed an excellent exhibition of photographs taken by the Crown Princess during a year of travel. Not only did it demonstrate a good eye for people and landscapes, but that she has a sense of humour. We loved the 'larger-than-life' images in particular. This all happens in the top gallery. There was little of other interest in this very... More

The building is huge and has an interesting architecture, but with not much to see. Shops on everybody floor with overpriced art stuff. The exhibitions were uninteresting, (although "Imply-Reply" was worth the visit). In the library lobby you will find varying exhibitions. Start there! If you consider only one contemporary art visit in Bangkok, MOCA is by far the better... More

The country is so full of ancient art and architecture that a visit to this center makes a very good balance. If you are interested in seeing what contemporary Thai artists are thinking and doing, this is the place to go.

Greet location with 3 mins walk to the place. Free to enter. I'm not an artistic person at all, unexpectedly I spent like 2 hours there. Can you imagine how excited for a traveller from HK found a quite place without the crowd? I'm sure you will be impressed by the settings, ideas and atmosphere as long as you can... More

BACC is conveniently located opposite MBK Mall, a good break from the shopping activities. There are exhibitions, small shops/stalls selling souvenirs, stuff related to arts, cafes, all found in a new, clean and spacious setting. What I like best abt this place is the few artists who provide service to draw your portrait at a reasonable price of 200B, good... More
