One of the few centers that were almost always full and where no one hassled you on the street to come in or try insistently to convince you. Tried both the half hour and the full hour Thai foot massage and was extremely relaxing. The one hour ends with a bonus back massage. They are offering a lot of other... More

My feet was very hurt after 4 days walking arouns Bangkok. I don't like massage but my friends told me to. Fortunately, they makes me better after the massage. Of course I will be back again. It was right in front of my hostel, Lamphu House

I know i couldn't expect much if i just paid that price for the "spa treatment". I should call it just massage instead! The place has basic stuff to do the massage, lack of music and surfeit of noise from the hectic street outside. My therapist was nice and the her technique was good. I left the place happily as... I always get full body massage for an hour, I fall asleep all the time its just too good. And Ivd tired the... More

This spa was actually very good for how cheap it was. If I had to pick a fault it would be there was no relaxing music being played while having the massage. Apart from that, everything was great! Worth a go!

I did a body massage for one and half hour at night, overall not bad! Just can't really relax bcos very noisy! Maybe day time will be more quiet more suitable for relaxing!

Shewa spa is a very clean and appealing looking place. Having experienced waxing in many different countries I found Shewa Spa to be okay. The wax is heated in a pan and applied with a wooden spoon, I found it to be very hot at times and told the lady waxing me and her reply was 'no pain, no gain'.... More

I love this spa for hair waxing ONLY! I have been waxing hair in this place from 2010 and still go back every time. It is the only place in Bangkok--and probably Thailand that know how to wax sensitive area such as Brazilian wax. The price is reasonable--I paid 700 BHT for Brazilian wax in the private room, advanced skills... More

I was looking for amgood place to have a massage and I thing I end up in the best! I always dubting of having a massage or not since I don't know if the people working on the centers know exactly what they do and touch. I can tell you that in Shewa Spa they know it! I had a... More

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighborhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
