Spend a good time in RCA at night. Specialy on weekend. Should take a taxi to go there. Best night clubs and bars in there if you tired of patpong and sukhumvit and soi cowboy .... Go there. Should to put on a suitable cloths.

The Royal City Avenue started years back as a newly developed area near to Petchburi Road that run next to Sukhumvit Road. However as the area was filling up, it transformed into a teen evening entertainment center. After all these years, the RCA still has the reputation as a teen entertaining area. During the day, the place is relatively quiet... More

No creepy sex tourists, no Falang behaving like jackasses, few backpackers, just normal local party people. Great for partying and making new friends. Definitely the best place I saw on my trip to Bangkok.

I spend some nights in Bangkok looking for fun with my friends. I tried all the stupid touristy stuff, Soi Cowboy, Soi 21-23, Patpong and I was wondering if there were any decent place to have fun without sex seeking lots. At last I found RCA. There are some nice, good looking night clubs, cafes, bars and there are usually... More

When I was younger, I sometimes went to Royal City Avenue, or RCA for short, to check out the action. A decade ago, it was a sort of no-holds-barred area where the hip crowd hung out in trendy pubs, discos and bars. Drinking and dancing seemed to be the orders of the day. It continues to be a "clean" road... More

Went on a Friday night around midnight, place seemed rather dead apart from Route 66. I expected a bustling area with lots of locals / foreigners alike. But many of the clubs were not open, weirdly. we did not enter route 66 as a few friends were not dressed for it. Partying in Thailand requires a age minimum of 21,... More

RCA is a good destination for a fun night out in Bangkok. Your best bet to get over there is to catch the MRT into Phetchaburi and hail a quick taxi from there for a couple of minutes. The crowd is mostly student/ middle-class Thais with a good amount of travelers and expats thrown in the mix. No tricks, scams,... More

Every thing was good about the clubs here. been to route 66 and slim/flix. Good DJs, sound systems, deco, set up and huge space! However, I felt like i wasn't even in thailand, over the weekends, almost half the people there were foreigners, specifically in route 66, I think part of the point of partying overseas is also to party... the place is awsomely themed, with a arcade and numerous clubs lined up. you get an adrenaline rush, the moment you are about to enter the premises. foreigners need to pay a cover charge, and show ID cards (Passports) and get a drink free inside. 300TB when i last visited. you name it you have it. world class pubs &... Nightlife at RCA sucks but hidden in a derelict shopping centre (where Tops and Fuji are) is BKK's best art-house cinema (the other being Apex Siam) with only two theatres screening indie movies both Thai and foreign (award winners like Sweden's Let the Right One In and Iran's A Separation included) as well as the occasional blockbuster hit. Believe it... More
