We enjoyed the class overall. We visied the market, prepared and cooked three dishes completly, one dish which was half prepared, and sampled a desert which was demonstrated. The class is run in what I presume is Nusi's appartment, in two rooms set up for cooking. The class cost 1000 baht which was reasonable for the level of the class.... more

We booked a morning lesson at the last minute for this course. The menu is set and changes day to day. Sessions start early in the morning and finish about lunch. The setting seems odd as it takes place in a small apartment block off the beaten path. It is about half the price of similar courses we priced. There... more

I participated in one class at Silom and had an enjoyable day. However there were some unexpected aspects to the class. As others have said there is no pick-up service. I recieved a fax at the hotel to meet at a skytrain station (my husband accompaanied me- as you can imagine I thought this a bit odd). There were 2... more

Cannot understand all the good reports about this cooking school. First of all: there is no professional pick up service. We had to wait at Narai Hotel closeby until everybody arrived. In the meanwhile our teacher did phone calls and did not take care for us. From the hotel we went to a "market" closebye which was in fact one... more

This was one of the nicest cooking classes I've ever did in Asia. We buyed everything in the market, chopped the veggies on the floor (it was hygienic!), cooked the food on the verandah and ate in the cook's very nice appartment. Highly recommend it! more

If you're looking for a half day activity, then a cooking class is good fun. You get a bit of education, get your hands dirty and stuck in, get to chat and meet new friends, and some great food to eat during this. Nusi meets you at a local hotel. The organisation of this can be a bit haphazard, most... more

I agree with the previous reviewer - if you don't know much about Thai food or don't do much cooking yourself then you will probably love this course. However as someone who is a bit of a foodie and already knew quite a lot about the ingredients/cooking I didnt feel I got a lot from this course. We cooked: fried... more

I went with my husband for a morning class. First the tutor took us to a typical Thai market and gave brief explanations on different spices, fish & ... Then we went to the "school" to wash and sort out the ingredients. There was no air con - only fans - which made the experience really hot and sticky. The... more

I have always loved Thai food, and when I found out about this school, I signed up for 2 lessons (choosing the menus which had most of my favourite dishes!) My husband was initially apprehensive about accompanying me, but he was completely won over by the end of the first lesson. We were fortunate to be in a very small... more
