This spa was clean, comfortable, and relaxing. I was warmly welcomed in the beginning. My only complaint was that I was told that we had to wait a half hour (which ended up being 45 minutes) when I arrived, but that next time I should make a reservation beforehand. Regardless of that, I have only good things to say about... more

It was my honeymoon. I went to Dahra spa with big expectation. The receptionist was very nice and polite. My husband and i were politely asked to come back in 3 hours, which wasn't problem, then I carefully chose the course and decided to do 'Asian something', which is combined Thai massage and oil massage. The disaster started when i... more

First of all, we are truly sorry for the inconvenience you have met in our spa. It is our goal to give all our guests the best possible comfort and relaxation during their stay. With regards to your visit we indeed have some problems that week controlling the temperature of our air-conditioning. The control switch was not working properly and...

During my last trip to Bangkok, I had some free time to spare and decided to try out this small spa. They have some interesting promotions on their website and I decided to take the Full Spa Treatment. The moment I walked in I felt like a different person. The greeting was genuinely welcoming and the spa treatment was quite... more

I consider myself a discerning traveller and went here based on reviews. I was disappointed in every respect. Dahra spa is not easy to get to and is in a very run down part of town. The spa is so dark and dimly lit I could not tell if it was clean but it did not feel clean. The young... more

During our stay in Bangkok we wanted to try one of the million spas in Bangkok and decided to go for the Dahra Spa (we heard about it from tripadvisor). It is close to Silom Road and easy to find. We had a 1,5 h-Oil-Massage there and it was wonderfull. Service was great and the athmosphere very relaxable. Everything was... more

I live in Bangkok and have had numerous massages. I went here with two friends. The consensus was: this place is totally average. Take into account the price, 500 baht, and it is possibly the worst place I have ever gone for a massage. I've never paid more than 250, for a massage. Where I live, massages are 150 baht... more

Dear Mister O, We are really sorry to see that we could not achieve our 100 percent customer satisfaction. We already send you a personal email and we hope that our offer in this email is to your happiness. Also we are sorry to see that the 500 baht (around 10 euro.) in your experience is too expensive. We are...

I visited Urban Retreat last week. I tried himalayan scrub, macadamia oil massage and hot oil head massage. However, the price for hot oil head massage is quite high comparing to other treaments. Therapists/ receptionists were very nice and friendly. I went back their for waxing. I like it. The therapist was very gentle. Urban Retreat is a must try... more

It is a total relaxing experience in a very serene, calming and restful environment in the middle of a complete chaotic city. The masseuses are friendly and properly trained to do the job and the rooms look very nice. The serenity starts as you enter the “lobby” and a friendly face welcomes you in. You can sit down and whilst... more

My younger brother and his girlfriend were travelling to Bangkok in early Jan for their first trip overseas, I've visited Thailand many times I know how wonderful a good Thai massage is, and thought that gifting them a massage would be a great intro to Thailand and south east asia for them, particularly after a long flight. I organised this... more

The other reviewers are absolutely right: Dahra Beauty & Spa is quite possibly Bangkok's best oasis of calm. From the moment we entered the Spa's door we were treated almost as old friends by the most lovely receptionists. It seemed, right from the moment we entered that we'd reached the right place to receive much needed relief from the urban... more
