It was a good place to go for nature lover. One can pick to walk a few walking trails that nicely lay out by the Park, or take buses to visit the sites that is point of interest. Noted that one can arrive at YangMingShan main bus station (it was just a small building) by city bus, then connected to... More

Yangmingshan was easy to get to from Taipei.. Take the MRT to Shilin n board bus R5 to the terminal station. There are two to three food stalls selling snacks, noodles, fried tofu n eggs etc and water n drinks that was useful for the hike I had planned. I took the shuttle 108 to Xiaoyoukeng where I began my trek... More

We went at about 11am but it was too foggy, possibly due to the rain. It was windy and colder than other places we went too so be sure to prepare sufficient clothes.

Been here twice. First in September and then in January. The park has a huge variations of plants. There is different stuff to see, for example the statue of Yanmingshang, the flower clock. Can recommend to go inte the spring since at that time the cherry trees bloom the most. Since the park is located in the hot spring district... More

It was a pity as we didn't get to do anything by the time we arrived at Yang Ming Shan. The weather was so bad that it was quite foggy, thus we couldn't see anything at all. Moreover, we spent too much time at Yehliu Geopark in the morning and we only managed to arrive at YMS slightly after 4pm.... More

The park is huge and has plenty of varieties of plants. During the spring the formosa cherry trees bloom fully. There is a statue of Yangmingshan, the philosopher, and flower clock in the garden. The park is in the hot spring district hence one can smell sulphur while going to the park.

I was there with my parents, in-laws and kids. This place may not be a place for them as hiking is needed. So we went to the hot spring lakes and sulfur fumaroles for a photo opportunity before leaving. It was refreshing experience especially for the kids. Good place to take some nice photo.
