Best place and a must to go for nature lovers. Scenery is good. Air is good. Fabulous space and not crowded at all.I will recommend friends to make a trip there.

When in Taiwan I will often ride up Yangmingshan, two or three times a week. During the week it is lovely and quiet. The roads from Danshuai (101) are perfect for cycling and the views down the coast tremendous. Weekends are very busy, so much so that cars are banned from some of the roads, so you will have to... I missed out on "xiaoyoukeng" on this mountain trip. I took MRT to Beitou MRT , then took bus Small 9 to the Tourist information office. From there, i took a car ride to "Leng Shui Keng" to take a FREE foot bath and also FREE hot spring bath , side by side to each othere. From there, i went... More

The highlight of the park is XIAOYOKENG. To get to the park by public transit take the red line to Jiantan Stop. Take bus number 5 from Jiantan Stop get off at YANGMINGSHAN BUS STATION transfer to RED 108 get off at XIAOYOKENG the bus looks like it passes it at first but then comes back around to it.

Great place for a stroll or a hike. Plenty of vendors selling delicious local snacks along the way. Easy access by buses.

Yangmingshan may be within Taipei, but it takes awhile to reach the national park. The most convenient way to reach Yangmingshan from the central park of Taipei city will be to take the mrt to Jiantan Station, and then, take the Red5 bus or 26. The final stop of the bus will be the starting point of the Yangmingshan shuttle... More

Yangmingshan perhaps is the most widely spread green mountain area in Taipei and just 20 min. of driving on motorcycle or car could bring you here from City.It is a beautiful natural park on and off the mountain with clean fresh air, small water ponds, tiny to giant high trees and lots of birds trolling around! If you have your... More

Came here for a morning visit before hitting up Beitou. However after trekking around felt that an entire would have been even better. Lovely place with a great balance between the nature of the park and the set up to help visitors (e.g. signs and park information). Also the bus here is very handy if you're tired from all the... Used to be totally mesmerised by the description of famous Taiwan novelist about this place. Trees, streams, cool air in the tropical summer. Worthwhile a visit with your other half to experience the Taiwan Romance
