Lots people, and everyone are very happy enjoying the park and taking pictures. Good to walk around the park. A bit too many food vendors in the park. Guess people got to eat. Will return to visit again in the fall to see different flowers.

The winding roads into the mountains were so beautiful! The bus can stop at different points and you can see different sceneries of the mountain. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. If you enjoy the outdoors and light hiking you should make this apart of your itinerary.

This place is good to visit in the month of January and March. In March, there is Cherry blossom. If you go now, all you see is just green fields. The flat plain where it use to be a dairy farm, now has a few cattles let loose in nature to graze the grass. There is also the volcano crater,... More

Went to climb the mountain and Qi Xing San, the scenery was awesome and breathtaking. Definitely worth the climb! The air is so fresh and less polluted, the clouds were low and near us.

Fairly easy to get to by metro/MRT to Beitou or 260 bus from main station then by shuttle bus into the park which altogether takes a fair while so morning is best to visit. There are about 8 shuttle bus stops in the park and not all are worth it so ask for advice from the shuttle bus office. This... More

I went there full of anticipation as there was a long queue for the bus that brings visitors to different attractions on the mountain. After a long walk at the first stop, we reached an open meadows which is a picnic ground for the locals. After walking for 1 km to the flower clock which appears on every photo gallery... More

I visit Yangmingshan in May 2013. It is definitely worth a trip there if you are a scenery person. Do allocate a 3/4 day there until evening. there are many ways in getting to Yangmingshan. for me, i took bus 260 from Taipei Main Station Exit Y6 to the last station. It takes us about half hour to 40 mins.... More

I took bus 108 from the main bus station at the Park HQ and stopped at Qing Tian Gang (last stop) for the great mountain views. Then trekking from there to Leng Shui Keng (mainly downhill and gentle slope) which was a easy, pleasant and scenic walks. I enjoyed the fresh air and sceneries along the track. I would suggest... The nature is so beautiful. Sooooooo beautiful! We wanted to visit some hidden hot springs, but we got lost and we met two snakes crossing our way, so it was stressful... But still, you can not get your eyes off these hills!

spent a few hours at the park during a very busy bussiness trip. the park is beautiful and there is much to see. decided to walk to the Menghuan Pond near the volcano as it was sign-posted as only 1.2km from the parking lot - be warned! the hike is not for the faint hearted - although the trail starts...
