An iconic red house located at the junction of Ximen road. Five minutes walk from Ximen station and there is a souvenir shop for visitors. There is also a relax corner for visitors to sit down for some beverages. There are some exhibits to tell you about their history and those transformations it has been through.

Ximen Red House is filled with quirk and unique souvenirs which I don't think you can find anywhere else. Some of the postcards can even be made into paper models! And they are priced relatively affordable, starting from NTD$20. The top part of the building is sometimes used to house performances and shows. I just love the old-style architecture of... More

This was my favorite place in Taipei. It's known to be a hip area full of locals and tourists. There are many shops and restaurants for you to explore. The stores are not overly expensive either. You just have to look around for the right prices. There are many repetitive shops so don't be afraid to walk away. The reason... More

I did not think there was much to see at the Red House. The outside architecture was interesting but the exhibit inside had minimal interest for me. I would suggest walking around the area as the area is at least as interesting as the Red House itself.

Growing up this theater has accompanying me with many wonderful memories. Now a tourist spot, it has transformed into a combination of gift shop, coffee store and exhibitions of the building itself. If there is any suggestion, it is too crowded with many things happening at the same time.

You wouldn't miss Ximen Red House. Aside from its catchy red color, this old building t just outside the train station so it is very accessible. They hold different exhibits in this place and I loved the different artsy displays and good find. During the weekend, it has a fair where you could buy good souvenirs.

Is like mini museum located nearby Ximending station. There's a café and souvenir shop inside. This building serves as a landmark there and some olden days arts culture things.

Located near to Xi Men MRT Station. Opening hour is from 11am. Very nice sculpture building. It's Free admission. To me, it looks more like a museum but it's features with many olden days arts culture that how Taiwanese lived on. There's a small cafe inside the building. It's fully air-conditional. So, if you feel hot and warm outside, haa...... More

Reddish and historical building, located just next to XiMenDing MRT station, may pay a visit if is near there and just spend a short 15 minutes there would be enough. Inside there are some sort of Taiwan's movie industry history by decade exhibition, but must say, the rest room is clean and if you need a toilet break that's the... More
