A small place converted from an old cinema. Now filled with small shops selling young designers' products from fashion to household products and decorations. Worth spending an hour for a brief walk.

This place is on my must-visit list whenever i am in Taipei. I love the quirky stationery and aboriginal music cds. A pity that the section of shops operated by the entrepreneurs are closed for renovation.

This is a great little house which houses craft stores as well as a theater. You can look at local handicrafts both inside the builidng and also they have pop up stores just in front of the place. A great place to grab a cup of coffee or tea after shopping.

A smallish red brick historical building in ximen space near the entrance to ximen station and also beside the police station. There is a small information board beside the front entrance giving the historical background. Inside there is a small ‘museum’ (information display) and cafe on the ground floor. The upper floor houses a theatrette. Unless you are stopping here... More

It is located at ximen area, right outside the MRT exit. If you happen to visit ximen area, you may take some photos here. Sometimes there will be some cultural show will be performaned here at second floor theatre. Nothing so interesting at this spot.

Good to take photos with interesting things inside, but nothing much to shop. So okay to pop in to see if you have the time. I will prefer to walk around the stalls outside the red house at night. More interesting things to see and buy.

This is a great old western building at the Ximen station. There are many things going on here but not all the time. There is unique art here and often good shopping. Don't expect a lot going on here during the week. The local gay scene is right behind the building.

It's right outside of Ximen MRT station exit 5/6, easily accessible by public transport. It has a nice façade, but didn't go inside. Great for photos in the daytime and night.

There are not that many shops inside the building. We went inside and done quickly. We didn't find anything that we liked.
