“Beautiful, Must See, Lanterns at Night”

Come and see what Tainan used to look like on this preserved street. It is just a small street but there are lots of vendors and cafes. I recommend having a drink on the second floor of Taikoo, near the end of the street, next to Joes.

“古きよき町This is a town which may be old.”

夕食後、散歩がてら歩いていくと、そこは神農街。古い雰囲気を残しつつ、若手の芸術家の方のアトリエを取り入れるなど、すてきな街です。台南に行ったら一度訪れあれ。忘れかけていた何かを思い出させてくれた気がします。 When you walk given the opportunity of the walk after supper, it is the 神農街 town there. It is a great town, such as taking in young artists' atelier, leaving an old atmosphere. When you go to Tainan, visit once and be. I feel that something that is being forgotten was made to remember.

“Day Time Visit Was A Dud”

Maybe this street is hopping at night but during the day it was simply a boring little lane of closed doors and scooter traffic. The nearby Water Fairy Temple Market was simply a nice market but not worth an extra effort, and the Medicine Lord Temple at the end of Shennong St was equally ordinary, although it had a decent... “walking through small alley”

pro: typical small houses looks so lovely, perfect to be taken as photography objects. con: sometimes too many decoration hanging over the roofs so it will be difficult to be pictured.
