The street located at one of the busiest block in Tainan. People can enjoy traditional Taiwanese cuisine nearby, no matter it is day or night, but I will strongly recommend folks to go there during night, since there will have lights that glowing along the street! The little shops sitting along sell small items that you could gift to your... More

We enjoyed here both in Morning and evening just to feel the difference, The shops here close early so if you do not want to return with disappointment do come early.

We visited the place after opening hours, nevertheless, you can still see the beautiful deco and warm glow of light from the shops as the shop keepers toil away.

The street is pretty, the night view is good. Although it is short, shops selling local design and handcraft goods are worth to visit.

I walked for about 3 hours one day and made sure I included this lane. Seeing the lanes was one of the most memorable sights in Tainan I remember. it gave me a different perspective and really made the city interesting for me. Some cafes so it's a nice place to stop and have a rest.

The street is very beautiful. And have many delicious food can buy to eat. But the best time to tour is in night. I want to tour there again.

This is my second time to visit Tainan, but first time heard about Shennong Street. An unique place whereby you can explore the history of 'Old Port' during Dynasty Qing. They managed to rebuild and take care of old building and promote this history building to the visitors and tourist. Yu can find very nice pictures of old street, old... More

A quiet place with a few handcraft souvenir shops during the day, this nice little street with antiquated houses comes alive at night to host unique and interesting bars and cafes. Not particularly exciting but it's worth a stroll if you're tired of all the big-city fair. In the day you can take a break and check out the Agriculture... More

We decided to stay at the Ryokan on this street instead of the 5 stars hotel because it's quite and full of stories in this small alley. There is a historical site here right next to our Ryokan. Very romantic.
