The openness of the whole Annapurna masiff is overwhelming. I did not get a 100% clearsky and still it was amazing. More

Tip: when you take the taxi there in the morning, don't get impatient and get out at the first backlog of cars... Your not there yet. That's the "toll collection" line. You will reach another backlog at the non-existent parking lot. get out when you see the accommodations with view patios filled with onlookers. Catch the sunrise from there, or... More

its a beautiful location from where one can see the sun rise. The moment sun rises its rays gives the golden glow to the snow clad Annapurna range and its a breathtaking view. Also paragliding from Sarangkot is a great experience More

Worth the trip! Disappointed that the view was obscured by haze, which may be a seasonal thing. The walk back down (with a guide) is also worthwhile unless you have knee problems. More

It's exciting hiking up the mountain while its still dark and its more than worth the reward of watching sunrise over Sarangkot. The way the sun hits the mountains is breathtaking. If you're lucky, try and get a clear morning so you have great visibility of the Himalayan mountains. More
