I was disappointed by this stop. When I went, in April, there were nearly no bats at all. I understand it was the wrong time of the year. What can ya do right? But: 1) its really a small cave. Just one room really. 2) to get out you are supposed to crawl through an extremely narrow passage way. I... More

Not really worth a visit since it is quite far and the gardens are unkept and pretty littered. More

Not sure about the bats in the cave but this has some great adventure stuff inside. Their is a little hill where you would have to crawl and squeeze yourself to come out which i find it great. More

A somewhat very small cave, with what seems to be millions of bats. Easy to get into by the main passageway, quiet difficult to get out of from a narrow steep hole, but that an experience. Be careful of the so called guide asking for a lot of money. A 100 roupies is way enough for what they do, and... More

The bat caves of Pokhara looked deceptively simple on entry barring the pitch black total darkness, common to all underground caves. The climax is in the "EXIT" on the other end, a tiny mouse-hole where only the shortest, thinnest or a authentic 'rubber-man" can squeeze out from. Most visitors turn back and exit from the entry. One can also view the excellent... More

The best part of the Bat Cave is its access. The way down is via a series of slippery and occasionally steep walk in near total darkness. A torch can be rented at the enterance and this is almost mandatory. The multitude of bats hanging upside down from the roof make for a unique viewing. The normal Exit is via... More

big population of bats together in the cave. Location is not very touristy, i.e. about 20-30min drive from Pokhara lakeside, however well worth the visit. a bit adventourous climb out, however you can also retrace your steps and exit via the entrance. We had lots of school classes visiting, so also good to watch local people :) Do not confuse... More

there was no guide to this destination . in the entrance only torches were supplied along with the tickets . our cab driver accompanied with us , but he could not guide us . we visited the bats hanging from the cave roof and returned in the same route as we had no idea of the returning path . More
