Begnas lake is about 18km from pokhara.The nature beauti is very nice.I was there with my family,we had very nice boating.after boating we walked up to sundari danda,the view was nice.we walked down & come back by boat.we followed the forest side.There were many birds,we could see the fish in the lake.very good time. Went there on our scooter, took about half hour from lakeside. Nice waters, we took a dip but not sure how clean it is..however a nice boat riding is a must, and bring some food if you are concerned about where to eat, since only local restaurants are to be found. More

The place is enchanting and serene. A huge difference if compared to the capital. The views are incomparable and mostly when the mountains are clearly visible and reflected in the water. Theres a nice area for a stroll and good restaurants. More

A merely 10 kilometers from Pokhara and one is out of the world, by this beautiful lake surrounded by mountains. Take a picnic pack and go in the early morning, you won't regret it. More

This is a short taxi ride from Lakeside. Lake itself has a few restaurants & lodges around. Looks like mostly for local tourists. Best thing about it was staying way high in the hills above, at Rupa View Guest House 1 night. Staggering views. More

This big lake is around 1 hour by cycle from the Lakeside area of Pokhara. It is very peaceful compared to the Phewa Lake, as very few people live nearby and it not very touristic.
