The company exists to promote and share with others the diverse geographical beauty as well as the cultural wealth of our homeland, Nepal, as well as that of some of our neighbours, such as Tibet and Bhutan. Predominantly, it is the mighty Himalayan ranges that attract visitors from all over the world to Nepal. Upon arrival, guests to our country are then also captivated by the interplay of the majestic mountainous landscapes with the overriding hospitality of the Nepali people. Our rich spiritual life and our many vibrantly joyous customs are born of the melding of the Hindu and Buddhist cultures which have co existed here side by side for centuries. This adds a mystical dimension to most travelers’ experiences in Nepal. It is this interplay of magnificent landscapes, of friendly and welcoming people from many different ethnic backgrounds and the complex, beautiful overlay of religious rites and cultural practices that make a sojourn in Nepal a life – enhancing, sometimes even life changing, experience for all.Our company is proud to be able to show overseas visitors all facets of our beautiful land, through stunning mountain treks, at both lower and higher altitudes, depending on our guests’ interests and their physical capacities, to wild life safaris in the Terai, on the plains or rafting on mighty rivers. We stand proud knowing we act at all times as an ethical and compassionate employer of local staff and our company is also involved with local conservation organisations and environmental agencies in order to preserve the natural wonders with which Nepal has been blessed. « less

This is the best money I have ever spent on a tour company. We had a group of 6 and they curtailed the trip to your every whim including beer in the cooler during transfers. We had an English speaking and super fit guide, "Jimmy" who was able to keep up with us on mountain bike and hiking. Great value.

The itinerary of this unforgettable road trip through mountainous deserts and past soaring peaks is totally understated. After spending a couple of days acclimatising in the sacred city of Lhasa with its imposing Potala Palace, taking in the scenes of pilgrims prostrating themselves whilst they do the kora, we set off on an unforgettable road trip in a very comfortable... We arrived in Kathmandu and had a wonderfully arranged day tour of the city. Proceeded onto Chituwan in a private car (all aranged by Rishi), and had a maginificent time at what I would say... More

My experience with Encounters Nepal was a great one because Mr. Rishi as the owner really takes a great care of the inquiries with fast response. My mom and dad have done the typical Nepali Tour with Chitwan about 10 years ago, so in this trip we want it to be customized, just to see the Himalayan Range. So we... More

Whilst not cheap, taking a flight to see the Himalayas and mount Everest is worth it. Approx us dollars 190, you will be treated to sme amazing views if the weather is clear. Nearly didn't do it as. Had heard of some poor safety records for some of the airlines, but thats more likely to involve flights to lukla. Flew... More
