Worth driving, cycling or walking up to this point. Offers a great view of Thimphu city. Who ever decided to build the monument must be applauded as it has become a good place to spend quality time with friends, family etc. More

Great statue can be seen from afar. Beautiful in its own right and well constructed. Interesting to see up close, but other than that planned amenities are yet to be completed. However, I cannot imagine they will add greatly to the site's overall appear (may even distract). Okay for a very short visit if you feel the call. More

Its close and its quite impressive. The Buddha promises to be the focal point of the city. Very well done. The bonus is the wonderful view of Thimpu; you can see everything worth seeing. I would take a look at this. More

Great to see the Buddha that watches over city close up! Road up is great as the King uses it for cycling practice! When area around Buddha is developed it will be terrific. It was very windy when we were there but we got great view of valley. More

The views from Buddha Point are stunning, and the Buddha statue itself is a sight to behold. The Buddha statue can be seen from almost all of Thimphu, and why this is so becomes quite apparent when being dwarfed before the Bhuddha from up close. This is a trip worth every trouble! More

The Buddha Point looks too similar to the one I can see back at home. So I was not particularly "thrilled" by it. More

Huge and impressive statue of Buddha overlooking the city( Remind of the one at Hong Kong). Still under construction when we visited . The view from the top is excellent with the snow capped mountains surrounding the Thimphu valley. More
