For traditional music, classic food and ambiance. This is the place to be. It is a star in Uganda hospitality thank to the management and clean staff who keep the place running.

I can't give enough praise for this event! The performers possess such intense energy and talent - making this evening one of the best I ever enjoyed while staying in Uganda. The variety of performances displaying the different tribes/regions of Uganda were stunning. The music was intense! Huge drums, harps and other native instruments gave great insight into the uniqueness... More

This show had everything going for it, until the MC (who seems to be the man who runs the centre and the show) decides to be the centre of attention and ruins it. The dancers are great, the music is great, the location is great...it all seems good, but then the guy presenting the show takes over and interjects with... More

We had a great night at the Ndere centre. The tranditional dances from all over the country give you an interesting insight in the different tribes and cultures in Uganda. Also the food is great. Only remark is that a lot of the explanations (sometimes it felt like it was more a comedy show) were in Luganda, so not possible... More

I don't normally 'do' traditional 'shows' .. so glad I experienced this one - fantastic evening of high energy, superb dancing and singing - Loved it! Enjoyed the food and the MC was funny. Suitable for all ages, don't miss it!

I have been to Ndere Centre on both my visits to Kampala. It is my special treat. The evening is packed with high energy dance performances, great laughs and good food. I would highly recommend it.

Went Ndere centre for breakfast at their restaurant. Though the place is famous for cultural shows the breakfast was kind of disappointing. The eggs were over done in what seemed like reused oil. The oil used to cook was also too much. They need to improve on cuisine

This place is worthy a visit for the exposure to Ugandan and other traditional music and dance. You will also get to experience some other counties music/dance, e.g. Rwanda and Burundi. The MC was excellent with a sense of humor. The show was a little long for a Sunday night, especially with so may little children around. The food is... More

Went to Ndere at end of long day feeling pretty tired, not sure I wanted to see a 'traditional' show. (Once had to jump out of a window to escape accordionists in costume in Lithuania). But the energy, the tight ensemble and whole-hearted performance style - with superb costumes and plenty of athleticism - was invigorating. It wasn't at all... More

A lot of fun seeing all the different dances of the surrounding areas. The drummers from Burundi was my favorite. I agree with the previous comment about the talking between the acts getting a bit long sometimes, but the locals and also the kids seemed to enjoy that part.
