Went Ndere centre for breakfast at their restaurant. Though the place is famous for cultural shows the breakfast was kind of disappointing. The eggs were over done in what seemed like reused oil. The oil used to cook was also too much. They need to improve on cuisine

This place is worthy a visit for the exposure to Ugandan and other traditional music and dance. You will also get to experience some other counties music/dance, e.g. Rwanda and Burundi. The MC was excellent with a sense of humor. The show was a little long for a Sunday night, especially with so may little children around. The food is... More

Went to Ndere at end of long day feeling pretty tired, not sure I wanted to see a 'traditional' show. (Once had to jump out of a window to escape accordionists in costume in Lithuania). But the energy, the tight ensemble and whole-hearted performance style - with superb costumes and plenty of athleticism - was invigorating. It wasn't at all... More

A lot of fun seeing all the different dances of the surrounding areas. The drummers from Burundi was my favorite. I agree with the previous comment about the talking between the acts getting a bit long sometimes, but the locals and also the kids seemed to enjoy that part.

Hard one to review. If you want to see great Ugandan music and dancing then this is great. It was a real spectacle. The one major fault, is that between each song or dance, the director (I think) starts talking...for ages...and ages...and I don't mean introducing the next part of the show, which is fine, but he basically does a... It seems I visited this during the wrong time (day). Nothing was happening there and saw a church, some gardens and a performances place. Might be a good place to sit a ready something quietly!

I like Ndere troupe because they present a lot of tribes in Uganda by showing their traditional dances and it's never boring. Beautiful girls showing their talent it owe some. The Centre is a bit out of the city pollution with fresh air that's why I prefer to go there for entertainment and you can joint in with the dancers... More

The Ndere Troupe show is very good and well worth a visit, though perhaps it would be a good thing to visit when you've got friends in town. The dancers and drummers are very impressive and the compere is funny and entertaining. The food available during the shows is a good version of local fare, though overpriced for what it... More

Wen I first went there with my friends recommendation. I thought I would just end up sleeping off my chair, however this was different from what I thought. The arrangement of the place just took me by surprise, the buildings, depicted real Ugandan Culture, the sounds of Africa. When it came to presentation it was more the climax of me... More
