At Cape Cross, jackels try to steal babyseals, the mothers fight with the jackels. we did see a lot of wounded jackals. Seagulls eat the carrion. At the skeleton coast, there are a lot shipwrecks. I you have a 4x4, you can drive on the beach. It is allowed. The Zelda is a rather new wreck.

Interesting place to go. So many seals, covering every inch of the beach. We had luck with the wind, so we didnt had a bad smell of the seals.

There are literally thousands and thousands of seals situated here!! Everywhere you look there is a seal! The smell is quite bad but you get used to it after a couple of minutes and it becomes bearable. There are seals swimming, relaxing/sleeping, fighting and all are just a few meters away from you. It is a great sight to see...

At Cape Cross, you can walk right by a beach COVERED with seals, as far as the eye can see. They are just everywhere!
You pay your fee at the entrance of the reserve, drive a couple of kms, park your car by the beach, and when you get out of the car it is the smell which hits you...
