We spent the most memorable day in here November 2005 .....one of lifes best ever moments, the atmosphere was electric,the sights, sounds & colours & smells will stay with us both forever...it is great fun, even the local police joined in our delight as we picked some winners. We would recommend this to everyone ..... more

During the racing season in Mauritius, Champ De Mars is the best place to be on a Saturday afternoon. There are 8 races in total (first at 12.45pm and the last one at 5pm). Forget the stuffinessof British horse racing, this place is alive with sound, colour, hustle, bustle and an atmosphere that will bring you out in goosebumps. The... more
