fabulous experience esp that in submarine..u would be amazed to find such beautiful aqua lif eexists under the sea. Subscooter was also good..however not as exciting as submarine. However, that might be due to the fact that we were allowed to roam within the coral reef only as there was a warning of tornado. More

It was a great experience. I did both subscooter and submarine. The time is less for subscooter but the activity is fun More

Thank you for your review, As you did, we think that trying both attraction (submarine and subscooter) is a good choice as you'll discover a part of the sea life by 30 meters depth and that afer you can ride a subscooter by 3 meters depth, by your own and be close to the coral reef. Best Regards More

I went on one of the subscooters which is a fascinating machine - somehow although you are underwater it retains a bubble of air around your head but its not sealed at all - beats me how it works but then I was always rubbish at physics! There are lots of fish at the site but its harder to see... More

Hi and thank you for your review. Like you said, the experience of our attraction is to use a subscooter and to be close to the fishes, in a different way than the diving. Concerning the physic, thank you. You gave us the idea to write a post on our Blog to explain how works the subscooter. Have a nice... More

If you have never been to underwater scooter or submarine, then you have to try it atleast once. Though, you do not see much of the underwater life ; glass blurs and you are actually revolving around the ship rather than actually scooting in sea. Staff at Ble Safari is very helpful and good. We arrived more than an hour... More

Hi, Thank you for your revert and your comments. Travellers opinion is very important for us and we appreciate that you took some time to write yours. Diving on a submarine is like going to a Safari. Sometimes we have a lot of fishes, some other times unfortunately less. But if some one is counting the number off species being... More

It was interesting to go into a submarine but is it worth it? I am not sure. Overpriced to the regular tourist, luckily I went at a Mauritian rate because my partner and his family are from the Island. It was an experience to be in a submarine but the captain makes clear that its unlikely you will see anything... More

Hi, Thank you for having taken the time to write your experience of Blue Safari. Unfortunely we had the AC of submarine which stop to work properly during your dive. We received a warm welcome on land and were then transferred to the launching vessel just off one of the stunning beaches of Mauritius. After a short briefing we proceeded with the underwater sub-scooter experience. It was WOW! the highlight of our holiday. We saw the most beautiful sea life. I wish I could stay down there for longer! More

Our Skipper / Captain was tremendous.... Full of fun and knowledge and knows what he is doing. The site that the submarine goes too needs a drastic change. There is nothing to see in the way of fish or coral. Yea the wreak was of interest but not much happening. Taking photos through those windows is just not possible. It... More

Hi, Thank you for having taken the time to write about your experience with us. We’re sorry that you were disappointed by the Safari. The problem of upgrading a site is that we’re underwater and on a natural place. As all natural places, it might happen that times to times there is less fishes than expected. But, as you saw,... We visited Mauritius for our honeymoon in December 2011 and the Blue Safari Submarine was one of the various thrilling activities we did there. It was truly an experience of a lifetime and we truly enjoyed the thrill of going down 35m under the Indian Ocean. Our Captain Mr. Jonathan was a jolly fellow who gave us lots of insightful... More

Poor visibility (not like the promo photos)... The only fish we saw were was one kind of zebra fish that suddenly came around because they were fed by the diver (guide). No freedom of movments... Maximum 10 meters left, then 10 to the right then stop for a few minutes, etc... I guess the maximum distance we covered over 35... More

We went for a subscooter ride which cost us MUR 5300 for a couple. We booked well in advance via there website. The staff there is friendly and the overall experience is very good. We opted for an afternoon slot to get good visibility, but still it was restricted. We expected to see many kind of fish and coral but... More

Hi, Thank you for having taken the time to write about your experience. We’re sad to you haven’t see as much fishes as you’ve expected. As you know it’s a safari and we can’t control sealife. We just try to dive where we think there should be the most, but sometimes fishes make some jokes and hide on the corals.... More
