Definitely worth a visit - catamaran to the waterfall, BBQ and then dropped off in absolute paradise! Completely clear, shallow and warm sea. The sand is exactly how you imagine a tropical island.

On our recent trip to Mauritius my BF decided this was his Must-See destination, so we pootled along in our hire car to Trou D'Eau Douce which is the jumping-off point to Ile Aux Cerfs.

This island is well worth a visit.Little paradise..White sandy beachs, restaurants. Birds in the trees..We traveled on the free boat from the Hotel Tropical.

We took a beautiful ride over there from The Four Seasons in the morning. It was quite busy when we got there and felt quite touristy. However, we took a little wander and found a lovely spot on the beach and we could see nobody else around for a couple of hours. That was perfect!

I'd been to Ile aux Cerfs 4 years back and loved it. So I decided to revisit it on my recent trip. We took Crystal Cruises (Terrible) catamaran (BIG Mistake). We should have taken the speed boat. The catamaran is more leisurely but leaves you less time to explore the island. Dont take the parasailing or underwater seawalk option. Enjoy...

Has all the water games you can think of.. Fun filled dayy.. Cruise will be funn...Paragliding, tube ride, fish ride..all recommended.... Under sea walk a must do...

Whatever you do, visit this gem. When you are dropped off, wade across the river, go aroud to the right, walk a couple of hundred yards and be amazed
