enjoyed the visit and picked up a variety of carved wooden masks, ornaments, etc as gifts. the shops along the road to the far left give you an option to see the woodworkers/painters in action. Note that there will be many options to buy the same things at various different shops, so you can choose where to buy and you... More

The hawkers will not leave your side and they will make sure you visit every shop. But they are good people. Make sure your negotiate a lot before buying. I suggest start from 50% of the cost.

A convenient place to visit which is nice and close to Accra however, it is extremely overpriced- and that is coming from someone who is half Ghanaian and visited the place with someone who is a Ga! Its an old place and we had to visit the place because it was very close to our hotel. though very old place its a place to visit all the same
