We were there at sunset and watching the sun go down was beautiful. The main clubhouse was disappointing and the bar was not well stocked.

If you are fed up with overcrowded beaches in Accra, noise and vendors shoving stuff in your face to buy then try Bojo. You need to get there early afternoon to get seats with shade. The seating is pretty basic but taking the boat across to the sand dune and spending the afternoon chilling is worth it.

Great place to escape temporarily. Desillant for the most part. I enjoyed the canoe ride across the lake to get to the beach area. Remember, alcohol is not permitted on the premises. The food menu is tantalizing,

They have a portion of backwater where you can do speed boating. Fun to do that as it is very safe. Couple of kids attractions available... More

Set on a lagoon, the beach is maybe a bit cleaner than others. The 5 minute boat ride adds to the experience. 30 minutes from city center.

The sun sets in west and this is on coastline. The surf is very clean and had no waves. There is one high building under construction and the sun sets in line with building in the background.
