The closest clean and private beach to Accra and easily accessible by car. There is a gate fee, but the place has pretty good value. The beach is on a sandbar accessed by a ferry, so it's a bit exposed to the sun. The waves are fairly rough, but at low tide everyone can enjoy it. The menu varies, but... More

Very quiet, secluded beach. Clear sand, clear water, no crazy waves so you can easily swim around and play in the water. There is an entrance fee but its very small. Far from center of Accra but worth the distance. You take a little boat from the entrance to the actual beach which is very nice. Good for tanning, and... More

First time we went here, the hotel was still under construction. It's a real fun place to visit with friends, fam, or the two of you! Go on the waterski or take a dive. Walk on the white sands beach, it's all pretty amazing! Love it

Has the nature, pleasantry feeling. Dining in the island with a boat ride. Do your water sports with water scooters. Have option to stay in the resort and spend the night. Island not accessible after 6 p.m.

We were there at sunset and watching the sun go down was beautiful. The main clubhouse was disappointing and the bar was not well stocked.

If you are fed up with overcrowded beaches in Accra, noise and vendors shoving stuff in your face to buy then try Bojo. You need to get there early afternoon to get seats with shade. The seating is pretty basic but taking the boat across to the sand dune and spending the afternoon chilling is worth it.

Great place to escape temporarily. Desillant for the most part. I enjoyed the canoe ride across the lake to get to the beach area. Remember, alcohol is not permitted on the premises. The food menu is tantalizing,

One the many fine beaches in Ghana. Close to the capital city Accra. Approx one hour drive without traffic. Better is to go early to avoid traffic. Exclusive places available to enjoy the beach. They have a portion of backwater where you can do speed boating. Fun to do that as it is very safe. Couple of kids attractions available... More
