There is a charge to take the small canoe over to the beach of 10 cedi per person. The ride can be crazy as young kids love to rock the boat as it glides toward the breach. They will also try to get as many people as humanly possible on the boat before it departs. Just put all your fears... More

Still searching about the best beaches in Ghana? If you have not been able to zero down to one, pack your bags and leave for BOJO beach. Given that its 1 hour drive from Accra, you wont be disappointed at all. Clean , well managed beach with option of huts/shade and reasonably good food. The best part is the boat... More

Very serene place, the boat crossing to the main beach is thrilling but road network is poor. Fix it.

It's a nice day at the beach. The place is fun, and not so expensive, if I remember well. In my opinion, it is not the most fantastic beach experience you'll ever have, but it beats the hell out of staying home (or at the hotel in my case) on a Sunday.

Its a beach resort. Paid around 5 cedis for entry. They take you on a boat to the beachfront. The beachfront has a eatery and multiple umbrella-canopy type tables/places to sit. Occupy any that is available. Had chicken kebabs and fries with my beer. A day of full relaxation. Finished it off with a hourlong dip in the ocean and... More

Nice place for fun and swimming . Good food but road to beach is terrible. Nice personnel and service. Pleasant ocean and sandy beach

Bojo is a nice place to spend the day and relax. My biggest complaint is that they don't allow you to bring your own food and their selection is both low in quality and high in price. I do, however, like that their are no hawkers and it is usually uncrowded. 10GHS gets you to the beach.

I think my favorite part was the canoe-ride to the beach itself-- I had fun with that. Apart from a great company of friends though, this place was just okay for me. Not being able to carry the delicious goodies we had prepared ourselves, we were hoping for a little treat but were quite disappointed with the food that was... More

It is great to sit down on the beach and follow the sunset. It is very relaxing place, specially if you manage to come when it is not so crowded.
