If you are going to Reserve de la Lope, you will probably be staying at Lope Hotel where you can watch wood buffalo graze on the grounds mornings and evenings. We got in having in mind the Last Eden, mandrils and gorillas and we discovered that Lope Lodge was closed "because of politics", that nothing works any longer, that no meaningful excursion or safaris are possible, no chance to see mandrils because the mandrils tracking program is over (to say it better: batteries for mandrils' collars are over....), we spent...
