It is quite small but I guess it has to be since it is in the middle of the city. You could be done here in 15 minutes and there isn't a lot of variety to see. Several lions are caged and they naturally don't look very happy to be there. Could be good for the kids but otherwise not... More

Absolutley horrible place to keep lions. Born Free is building a site to house captive lions in reasonable conditions twenty minutes out of Addis. We do hope they will all be gone before too long. More

The lions are in pretty small enclosures. It's a bit sad. The locals are all really proud of the zoo. You have to pay extra if you want to take a camera in but altogether it's not that expensive for entry. More

Those who have not seen a lion before, this is the place where to visit many lions. The zoo also have monkeys, various birds and some wild goats. It also has children's play ground. The entrance fee is very very cheap. The place needs renovation and better sanitation and cleaning services. More
