I visited Dar Ayed as part of a desert tour with Ali Saadi Touareg Tours. Great coffee, a small interesting museum and just a fantastic place with panoramic views. It's easy to do these out of the way villages with a professional tour guide.

If you have chosen a cruise that stops in Tunis, Tunisia, I hope you haven't planned this destination to be the highlight of your trip! Not much to see, (we visited Sidi Bou Said and Carthage - only mildly interesting. It would be great to visit the sites from the Star Wars movie, but they are further south and some... More
