The morning visit was to Sidi Bou Said a very pretty looking village with the option to pay extra to see a typical house. The trip to the Roman ruins was excellent as the guide gave us detailed information and then gave us time to walk... At the cruise terminal, you have the option to choose Carthage, Medina or Sidi Bou Said tour by Taxi that can seat 4 or 6 persons. The Taxi tours are well managed by the taxi company personnels and the price is fixed but reasonable. We chose the 5 hours tour for the above 3 attractions for only 60 euros total... More

I was on the MSC Splendida when we got to the Port of La Goulette. Naturally I booked the Carthage Tour and it was an awesome sight to say the least - Tunesia is rich in Carthagian and Roman Culture and our tour guide brought it all to life. Especially interesting was the Aqueduct. I have seen bigger ones in... More

We visited Tunis while on a cruise, we did a tour of the ancient carthage and its relics-it was interesting and well kept, not a vast area but worthwhile to see, though our guide wasn't too knowledgeable; I would like to state that the port area of La Goulette is also something that stands out in my mind, the camels... Those who "hate rocks" will be bored. I loved it. Rich history, ewll organized... There is a lot to see.. to be honest not as much as in Greece but the ruins are beautiful, sculptures amazing, I would go there again.
