“What a fun place to watch this grumpy bunch...”

There isn;t much to say about it. There was a pool with a huge amount of grumpy hippo's trying to win there own spot while some other hippo was in that spot. So the moan and yawn and growl and fuzz. And all together they tend to smell, really bad... But it's a fun spot to drive by and watch... More

Not sure how to review this. HIPPO'S! Water was at a decent level and there were plenty of hippos for our visit. Not the only hippo area around but the most consistent. More

Wish we could have parked along the concrete drift bridge and watched the for hours! Great spot to see these amazing beasts! More

Super lovely place where you can see many hippos playing and relaxing in the water or just walking around. But please be careful, hippos are still the most dangerous animals for people in Serengeti More

This is a picnic spot with toilets and a viewing point over a hippo pool. Great place for hippo pictures but take you own toilet roll More

We didn't see that many hippos, maybe 40/50 but were lucky enough that one had died the night before and 5 crocodiles were feeding on the dead corpse, an amazing sight. If you are on a driving safari it's often the times you are allowed to get out and walk about to see the wildlife that are the most memorable.... More
